I want your suggestions on how to spend the money.

YAY on winning!!! You should either open up a 5-year CD with the money, or get 175 $1 bills and smack homeless people with them.

I actually take some of it (maybe $25) and buy more lottery tickets to see if I can keep the winning streak going, but that is the degenarate gambler in me. And the rest buy something fun for yourself.

Swamp, if you were thinking of getting the Wii another choice might be the Xbox 360 with the Kinect. You can play games without a controller and it looks like a lot of fun. Your body is the controller. I was thinking of getting one. Great with a big screen tv.

Our state has a million dollar lottery this New Years Eve. I think the odds are fairly good, for a lottery, about 1 in 100,000, and there are 5 grand prize winners. I'm very tempted!!

I you buy a EE bond then you will have $350.00.. Frame it as a reminder that you can bet the odds but not often..
Just a thought, Bi Metal Au Pt

I went to a jewelry store on New Year's Eve to have my engagement and mother's rings cleaned and inspected. While I was waiting, I was wandering around looking at the jewelry. A blue topaz star burst necklace caught my eye. It was more than the $175 that I won, but I bought it anyway. It's really pretty

I suppose buying a ticket once in a while would help my chances of winning.

The necklace sounds pretty. I like blue topaz too. I'd love to win that $290 million which might be a challenge if I don't buy a ticket.

My DH didn't give me any lottery tickets so I didn't win anything, but if I had...hmmm that's a toughy cuz there's nothing I want to buy. I'd probably just bank it.
