If he becomes President, do you suppose he'll switch out First Ladies during his term in office?

I heard a sound bite of him the other day bitching about some other candidate not having good morals regarding the sanctity of marriage.
It always amuses me when someone who changes out wives with the same frequency that other men purchase new cars starts lecturing other people about family values.
Newt Gingrich 2.0.

Newt Gingrich 2.0. someone should make a video of Trump telling us about all the people that love him: "women love me", "latinos love me", etc etc. the arrogance is astounding. would anyone here make those claims?

I've always assumed, without a shred of knowledge, that when he puts on those airs he is playing a game and loving every minute of it. He is verbally quite quick, and he is especially quick with these little superlatives about himself. I'm thinking that inside he is laughing at the whole pomposity of it all, and reveling in the fact that he can sort of almost get away with it. What fun!
But he may be serious. Which would be a reason to see Dr. Malfi.
i think he has a little "Gish's Gallop" in him, too. he is a rhetorical shotgun.

I am not sure that the rest of the world would deal well with: The American President Reality Show starring Donald Trump as POTUS.

I think he enjoys playing the obnoxious, loud, pushy millionaire saying outrageous things because the whole routine draws a lot of attention, and I think he loves to be in the spotlight. Probably he believes in the whole 'all publicity is good publicity' idea. Even the ridiculous hair is a way to get noticed. However, I also think he's very smart and his public façade is just that - a façade. Underneath, he is a businessman first and foremost, and I don't think he actually wants the POTUS job because it would mean he would have to step away from his business activities. But he's having a good time causing fireworks.

Personally I can't see why a normal person would, but I especially can't see where a millionaire businessman would waste his time with it. Much easier to just pay out of pocket for politicians, including a nice POTUS who will do your bidding. Then you don't have to take that nasty pay cut.

Palin wants to be Trump's energy secretary if he winsNN’s Jake Tapper gave Sarah Palin a soapbox on State of the Union this morning, and the former half-term-governor turned reality-TV-star used the platform to emphasize her support for Donald Trump and share her desire to be his Energy Secretary if he’s elected, “because energy is my baby: oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the Earth for mankind's use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations.” Also during the interview, Palin said that while she appreciates the country’s Hispanic population and how Jeb Bush can speak Spanish, “On the other hand, I think we can send a message and say, 'You want to be in America, A) You'd better be here legally or you're out of here; B) When you're here, let's speak American.' I mean that’s just… Let’s speak English, and that's a kind of a unifying aspect of the nation is the language that is understood by all.” Palin wants to be Trump's energy secretary if he winsAnd in England they speak British.

I saw that, and the first thing I wondered was this: If this is in fact true, is it not enough to IMMEDIATELY disqualify Trump as a serious candidate?

I think and hope that by claiming that he would want Palin on his cabinet, Trump will fade away as McCain did. I think McCain would have had a better chance had he not chosen Palin as his second in command.

How true. But the Tea Party foisted her on him because of their extremist orthodoxy, and like Shooby, didn't really care that he lost because he is a RINO. A strange and ineffective way to do politics, but the Tea Party Congress critters have shown they are ineffectual and basically worthless, so it's seems like their raison d'etre.

I think Trump is a lot smarter than McCain, and I think Sarah is cute, in a Ted Nugent kinda way.
I'm guessing that the Donald is pandering to her and her still sizeable little slice of the base? You betcha! Cute in a Ted Nugent kinda way?
I think something got a Stranglehold on your brain there son....

I still have it. Great album (as I recall.) Haven't played it all in a long time, but I did borrow and rip the CD and listened to some songs. Hard to do without thinking, "Too bad he's such a wacko!" though....
