When you pick a race horse for this race contest over the next few weeks, give these numbers a few thoughts:
Today (NYSE): advances 489 52 wk. highs none
declines 2,718 52 wk. lows 627
I could be very wrong, but I think this correction is not going to end any time soon .............

Long DCO (Ducommun Inc - Aerospace) From the earnings beat MRQ with recent upward estimate revisions screen. It rallied Friday when most stocks were selling off. Most of the indexes are oversold. Same pick as last week. |

Looks like a few are not going to challenge the market this week. We could have some unusual volitility, both up/down during the week,
as some bulls battle the bears.

There is only one on my "watch" list that pulled out a positive today...SCTY, Solar City....and it went up $2.93! Not bad for a day like today!

The opening plunge caught all the shorts but kadee today, and once again she leads the group. Nice going, kadee!
The BenchMark whomped everyone though. clarkrl was the only other one to remain on the upside and a long.
That over 1000 drop just after the open really caught most investors by surprise.

Mine would have been a whole lot better if it had stayed where it closed on Fri....12.15! That would have given me about 11.69% drop to where it closed today!
And now....what happens tomorrow ??  |

Kadee, that opening plunge as Mod described it caught almost everyone. Mine was terrible. I just did the math on mine and
yours. Your opening plunge was down 9.87%, and mine was down 16.61%. It's the same as someone that gets hurt
when they're long, and the opening price is high.....
I keep the point and figure chart of the DJIA on my wall..... this current row has 43 circles ......that's about as many as I've
ever seen unless it was that many on Oct. 19th, 1987......
But it'll all bottom one of these days, and there will be some great buys ..... PERHAPS.....

I saw an article this morning....the reason that SCTY had a gain yesterday was due to Musk buying $5M worth of the stock. Guess he didn't like that one fella shorting it....which had pushed the price down some.
