I will have paid off half of the debt I started with. I had $21,000 and am now down to $7500 at 0%, ~$1500 at 4% and ~$2500 at 5%. I am going to quit paying it down aggressively and start banking the money until I get maybe $5000 saved. I think my job is getting more secure. Then I think I will pay off the $1500 card, then the $2500 card.
I miss home and want to go back and do something, but I need to stay here and will. I go home most weekends, but really miss my family. I see them, but they have their own lives and weekends are often busy for them.
My hope is to start getting more overtime and to save up more money in a shorter time period.

That is great progress!! I am glad your job is looking more secure.
Hopefully the economy will eventually improve in your home town so you can move back. I am kind of stuck with half my family on one side of the country and half on the other, so it seems like I am always separated from someone.

I got a new credit card with 0% interest for 21 months. I have 3 credit cards with balances. I am going to move the balance of 1 card to the card 0% card. I am going to move half the balance of another card to the new 0% card. That will leave the three old cards with a balance of $0, $1100 and $1050. I think I can pay those cards off in about a month. That will leave me with just one card with a balance of ~$8500 at 0% interest rate for the next 21 months.
I should probably concentrate on saving more now then paying the cards off. It is so nice to get rid of them though.

When I have debt I feel like I'm under pressure. I don't know why but sometime I feel it like it sits on my chest. For the last few years I have been lucky enough not to have any that would pressure me.
it is an absolute liberating feeling not to have any!
Sounds like you already have a plan in place and have a good handle on it. Good luck to you!
