I would like to drive over from Vegas and spend a day then sleep overnight.

A few years ago we stayed at Bright Angel Lodge inside the Grand Canyon south rim. It was simple, clean and VERY close to the rim so convenient to get up and watch sunrise over the canyon. Loved that trip!

Loved that trip! I am pretty sure that is where we stayed too. Definitely recommend. In fact I got engaged at sunrise sitting at the edge of the south rim. |
