Well, I've just had my third bout with them ..... and I'm tired of it.
This time the treatment didn't go well. Was in ER at 3:30 am June 19 and had surgery that evening complete with a stent. Got out the afternoon of the 20 and was on a plane to Europe on the 22. Returned from Europe July 8 and had a stent removal appointment on the 13. Dang stent wouldn't come out, it was caught on another stone. So back to OR for an out-patient procedure.
Yesterday I was scheduled for a CT scan as a cancer check-up and was in so much pain I had to reschedule. I spent the day in bed and taking Tylenol. Tylenol helped with the pain and today has been OK. I'm hoping to get the scan done as scheduled and get another good check-up.
I have a call in for an appointment with my friendly urologist to see what I can do to prevent any more occurrences. This is getting very tiring and painful.

Just got back from the CT scan. Now to see the Dr sometime next week to get the results. Planning on no complications.

Saw the oncologist today and ALL tests and scans have come back normal. I have passed the two year mark since I finished chemo/radiation. Next appointment is another six months.
