This and Wolf Hall have been on the "crap! I forgot to watch it again!" list. Is it worth catching up with?

If you're looking for more stuff to watch yes but I wouldn't disrupt other viewing to catch up. It's not spectacular but now that I've started, I'll keep with it. Probably not the glowing review you were expecting

LOL! Gee, I really want to watch it now! I just discovered that when it's done my local PBS is putting on Sherlock again. THAT I will remember.

No, better. He's from a rich family but takes his shirt off and works in his own mine!

He's from a rich family... but he works in a mine. As in: the most thankless, back-breaking, brutal labour known to man? They should just give up trying to wrap a plot around these things and name the show "Rich, Shirtless, Burly Highland Warlord Rides Horses, Swings Pickaxe, Courts Women, Wins Duels - Season 1".

I agree. That way when I do program search that would stop me dead in my tracks and set reminder to watch.

Am I crazy? (on THIS specific subject, TYVM) Isn't there a Downton Abbey thread? anyway, reading crap on the internets and saw the picture in this article about Warren G. Harding's love child and thought "does Carson have a brother?" article

It's a super snooze fest and the preview for Sunday's showed Elizabeth being all desperate and annoying so I haven't even watched it yet.

Amazon automatically downloads stuff to my kindle and this show was one of them. I forgot to download my regular viewing material before going to the gym yesterday so I ended up watching the first episode. It was decent and yes, he is freaking hot .

Yikes! An old timey mullet at that!
I watched Victoria after Sherlock this past Sunday. A couple of the leading men look sort of plastic-y to me. I like the show though.
