Just opened a Roth IRA and made my $5,000 contribution for the year 2010. Now time to start saving up for the 2011 contribution.

Now time to start saving up for the 2011
Why not set it up as an automatic contribution every month? In stead of saving up and doing it in a lump sum?

Congrats, and the market just went down today too. I'm waiting to make my 2010 ROTH IRA contribution as well. There's no good reason to wait, I just feel like it.

I maxxed out in 2010 ($10,000) and I'm already halfway there in 2011...
