figure being mentioned....Little is hitting the headlines, at least in my local paper but your know getting into figures that are hard to imagine...something along the lines of trying to picture six million Jews being liquidated..to high a number to sink ones teeth into...Remember these refugees are families being forced to leave everything behind to be broken into , looted..Homes..{ think of your own home..} businesses..[same thing as home..].... www.aljazeera.com/news/2015/07/unhcr-syrian-refugees-4-million-150709033023489.html

No one cares about 4 million Syrian refugees. JK, no one probably knows what to do. America is not one to fix the problem. We can easily make it worse though. Are we part of what caused the problem?

Just how long do you think this Syrian war would have lasted if there were no supplies from the outside?

Just don't come here. We are already overwhelmed with illegals.

Europe could and should protect its borders. We have too many politicians buying votes to do the job here.

If America really cared about the middle east, we could take in some of the refugees. The cost would probably be a fraction of the cost of the wars we have started over there. These people are humans with the same human rights God gave to all of us. Maybe if we put in some preconditions for them to come here, like learn the language, get jobs, etc then I would be for us taking a sizable number of them.
I think the best thing we can do for the middle east though is to quit fighting over there. I think we have f'ed up more things then we have fixed.

The countries who have taken in the majority of them..Turkey, Jordan, Syria and Lenonon are the ones least able to abe able to afford to take care of them because of the financials involved...most of the $ promised by out side folks has not been delivered... Could we take some of them as refugees..? Of course but won't happen just as in the "30 's" we didn't take the Jews in Germany when they came calling..{sctually sent a ocean Liner the german Gov't allowed to leave filled with almost a thousand of them..turned back...most folks on that ship perished in the death camps..kids , middle aged, old ..who ever.. Would it have harmed our country to take in a # of them..? Considering the contributions from those people..consider the ones who did escape and some of the contributions made...who knows..possible Cancer , MS , possible other such along those lines might actually have a cure today..we'll never know...and the same is true of the possible contributions of some of these Syrian refugees..never know..and yes we have room here for a good # of them..not all but our fair share but will never happen...

Well we have let in herds of middle easterners. Look in Detroit and Florida. In Orlando everyother corner has a hookah shop, the flea markets are now predominantly muslim where a few years before it was illegals from Mexico and parts south. I think we are letting way to many people in now. They don't want to assimilate, if it were me, they would do it or leave. Give them so many years to learn English and become a part of this country or leave. If we could keep our bill of rights strong, I do not care about Mulsims, or people learning the language, or any of that. I think immigrants change a few things for the worse for me, specifically wages. But on the whole, I think they make things better. I think the freedoms that Americans have are the birthright of every human born any where. We just protect those rights better. Refugees are in a tough spot and I hope we or others help them out.
