Subway spokesman Jared part of child pron investigation.

The Zionsville, Indiana home of Subway spokesman Jared Fogle was raided early Tuesday by federal and state authorities investigating a child pornography case, news outlets in the area report. Investigators are said to be removing electronics equipment from Fogle's home; he has not been arrested or charged.

  I read an article on pedophiles the other day.  One of the problems pedophiles have is getting help before they abuse.  In California, I believe, if a pedophile goes to a counselor and says he has child porn the counselor must by law, report.  So a person knowing he is doing wrong and wanting help is kind of limited on getting help, if he does not want to go to jail.  The article said that a concern for some is that what is not mandated reportable  now might become so in the future.

Kind of from the artilce, is that some pedophiles are chemically messed up, but others are people who were abused as children and have messed up thinking.

I've seen a bunch of reports about Jared, but only one that said the raid stemmed from the investigation of someone else.

Just more sensational reporting!  

When all is said and done, if he had nothing to do with it and the other guy is convicted, no one will remember the other guy's name, only that Jared was a pedophile, true or not.

The operative term here is INVESTIGATON! Let us not condem the poor guy beofre more REAL facts come to light. Although I do think at this point that Bill Cosby is pond scum & I did love his Vegas shows & tv shows back in the day.

Breaking News is the headline under the picture.   Search is related to child porn investigation.   

Since it appears that the TV station added this caption on their own,  do they have any liability if the spokesman is found not to have anything to do with this?

There are reliable heuristics for deducing which people may be consumers of child pornography. It's just a matter of avoiding those people.
