I bought a package of the asian cellophane noodles. I made this awesome recipe with them - pork, raw and cooked veges, mango, fresh herbs and this great ginger-jalepeno dressing. But, the noodles were kinda weird. Sort of mushy - maybe I cooked them too long, or soaked them too long. I looked on youtube and only found people who were frying them. This recipe you boiled them for 2 minutes.

I have made them before but fried them like you saw on YouTube. I've seen recipes kind of like the one you're descibing made with the Ramen noodles though.

They reminded me of the Star Wars scene where they cut their dead animal open and his guts spilled out, and then they climbed inside and slept there. And the guts were milky white and mushy - yeah, that's what my noodles were like.

LMAO--I don't think I'll look at noodles the same way again! Sesame oil is good for asian cooking, I love pan fried noodles.
