Coach Ellis has been criticized for a lackluster offense, confusion in the midfield. Now with Rapinoe and Holiday sitting out the game with China, someone needs to step up to replace them.

Ken, who is carrying the games where you are? I've been following on Fox but they are not carrying all the games here. US/ China will be on tomorrow night but they have bumped Germany/France with a golf game.

It's that for youth/junior or what? The FIFA World Cup was last year.

The US takes on Germany in a few hours. This should be a good game. We've got a really good defense. We will know in a few hours. Send the FIFA folks to jail, but I will still watch. Women's soccer has been improving. There are some great programs out there. When this is over there will be a lot of contention about how the teams were seeded for this World Cup. Lot of top teams were pitted against each other early in the knock out rounds. Hope this is a good one tonight!

This should be a great game. #1 vs #2. #1 goalie vs #2 goalie. If the US plays like they did in the second half of the last game against China then don't leave the TV.

Great game last night. I got to see some of it (I had to run out to use a coupon at a local department store - hey, just trying to be YM here!) but I thought it was well-played!

That English defender was devastated. I thought the English out played Japan. Now it's us and Japan like the last World Cup. I hope it doesn't go to PK's again.

I think the good thing about Sunday's game: the US has one extra day of rest vs. Japan. Also, it will be a very pro-American crowd. Both of those should help.

I hope they get good refs. One game, not us, the lack of off-sides calls was poor. One of our games Wambach accused the ref of targeting players who already had yellow cards. What is the yellow card status of the players?

What is the yellow card status of the players? I know we had one which lead to the missed penalty kick. Don't recall any others. I remember hearing that the slate was wiped clean for the semi-finals. Is it for the final? Missed the other game so don't know anything re: Japan.

That game was ridiculous. I was sitting there in disbelief in the first 20...Carli Lloyd - hat trick in the first 16 minutes...hitting goals from the midfield....damn I am really glad we won that coin toss. The shadows and light coming in from the top of BC Place looked like a nightmare to contend with. Also sad that we didn't manage a clean sheet, but a win is a win.
