Well they've tried the alcohol thing once... I am surprised we still are allowed tobacco products though. Although I'm sure that has more to do with key agriculture states influence more than personal liberty. The tobacco industry is primarily a southern states industry. Protection, protection, protection.

And those of us who were around when Butter became "evil" and margarine was the magical cure all, really wish that this agency would BUTT OUT!!!!
Their focus should be promoting foods to be in as natural state as possible to make people healthier. Not supporting Monsanto taking over the entire basis of the food supply by "engineering it".
Organic farming gets no government subsidization - why is that?
