I get jittery, and I need to eat NOW. Normal hungry is entirely different (tummy rumbling and feel hungry), I tend to skip that and go right to jittery(hands shaky, feel weak, start snapping at people). DH knows it about me, but can't relate at all. He's just always hungry (or willing to eat).

I just have a really fast metabolism, and burn thru things quickly. Not a problem at home, just eat frequently. Tends to be an issue if we are out and about doing things w/o a chance to eat real food. A granola bar in a pinch will be -just- enough to get me to a meal, soon. I have no idea how people can skip meals, or fast. I'd be useless, or passed out. First thing I do when I wake up is EAT, and I'm getting jittery by 10. My sister is the same way, and our kids are always hungry. So we always have snacks in our bags.

I don't understand how people skip meals or - my favorite - "forget" to eat. Unless it's a life or death situation or I'm performing brain surgery for some reason, I'm stopping to eat because The Bitch WILL come out if I don't.

-worship-I'm doing a lot of training right now, for a variety of events coming up. So regular meals/snacks are important. I get annoying if I don't eat when I'm hungry. I can go for awhile without complaint, but then I'm going to just up and leave the party and forage for food if I don't get fed.

Ah, no, I will eat anything I can get my hands on immediately. I'll be eating something quick WHILE fixing something for the real meal, cause I won't be able to wait that long (or function). I try to decide what to do for dinner each morning (mostly for thawing things) to head this issue off. Luckily most days I'm forced to decide ahead of time, due to crazy schedules between work for DH and me, FC duties, track, concerts, lessons, soccer....

There are 3 things you don't mess with: my money my time my food I used to forget to eat. I would just randomly realize that it was Friday and I hadn't eaten since Wednesday or something like that. I don't do that anymore. Nowadays I will eat every day, just not 3 times usually. I'm usually too busy for that. Unless I'm at home, then I eat more. During the week I will eat once, maybe twice a day. If I'm at home on the weekend, I generally just graze throughout the day.

I was at the grocery store a couple of weeks ago and started getting shaky and light headed and sweating. I thought I was going to pass out. I hurried up and downed a soda and it was all good.

Were you never around anyone who ate? I can barely understand how people can skip one meal - I really can't see how you could skip more than one and not notice it.

This was during a time when I had some issues going on and spent a lot of time drinking. I was more interested in getting alcohol into my body than food.

Can you see the picture in the first post? I can see it on my phone but not on my laptop. I see black boxes on the top and bottom, and the text in between. Is that what you mean by picture, or is there a picture in addition to the text in boxes? I'm on my kindle fire.

Thing 1 does this thing where she points to her stomach when she's hungry. She's such a dork. Some kid at school asked her what she was doing and her little BF had to explain it.

If I feel a headache coming on I can usually tell if it's food or stress related, so if it's food related I'll go get something for lunch.

I can forget to eat meals sometimes, but more often I feel like I'm going to pass out if I don't eat. I've suspected a blood sugar issue, but it has always checked out, so I don't know what it is. I just try to make sure that I eat protein instead of a bunch of sugar.

I often forget to eat lunch. My work day is non-stop. I also forget to go to the bathroom. It has to be a pretty intense need for me to remember to do either. I try to schedule my lunch time as much as possible so I don't forget to eat.

When I was ~3 mo pregnant with my oldest, we had to go looking for apartments with an agent (provided by my husband's company)
We were out for about 2 hrs when I said that I needed to eat something NOW. I would get really nauseous if I didn't eat.
She gave me this "look" and told me that in her entire career no one ever stopped for lunch, that's not how people used her time.
There were sooo many things I wanted to say to her.....but didn't want to get back to my husband's new job....so I kept my mouth shut (such a rare occasion for me)

There are 3 things you don't mess with: my money my time my food I've never understood the "forgetting" to eat. I can easily skip breakfast, lunch is near impossible, and dinner is doable (but I wouldn't like it). I would never forget to eat...come on!
