This stuff sucks, I am now on week three and my second dose of antibiotics. Just when I think I'm getting better, I slip back into feeling really awful. I haven't been able to do anything but work and sleep. Never had it this bad before.
Dr said if this round doesn't work, they're going to have to scope me next to see what's going on.

Why antibiotics? Bronchitis is usually viral, not bacterial. Are you taking any cough medicine? That and Ricola are my go-tos for everything. If it's really bad see if your doctor thinks an inhaler would help since you have bronchial inflammation.

I don't think it's viral, not sure I guess, but I'm nearing the end of three weeks with this crap, I'm starting to feel normal, but I still wheeze and cough often enough that I know it's not gone. Only three more days until I run out of antibiotics, so hopefully they finish the job. If not I'll be back to the Dr next week. I did get an inhaler and it helped quite a bit, but right now I feel the worst when I wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep (coughing, hacking, etc).

Are you coughing anything up?
I usually get both bronchitis and pneumonia at the same time but missed it this round and just got pneumonia. Took about 2.5 weeks before I stopped coughing. Like Cookies Galore, Robitussen DM and Ricola were my go-tos.

Bronchitis is something like 90% viral. Hopefully you're feeling and sleeping better, but keep your head elevated at night. That will help.
