Wilton has a HUGE warehouse in metro Chicago (Downers Grove). Every couple years they run a tent sale with FANTASTIC prices. I remember in 2005 DD2 returned a bunch of gifts for cashe & bought EVERY baking and many cooking items she wanted or needed at this sale.
I LOVE to go but am not familar w/the area (west burb vs my north burb). Need to check with DD2 when/if she is going. Don't need much but always find 'hidden' wants.

I have a LOT of stuff too but a couple pans I use most of the time NEED to be replaced and anyway it is a good excuse to meet up with DD2.

I've been to this a few times. It's soooo hard to be restrained. It's pretty huge and crowded which is why I don't go more often. That and the fact I'm running out of cabinet space .

Here's the info for this year's event: www.wilton.com/events/The Wilton Tent Sale, which is held in Woodridge, Illinois May 29th through June 16th Save up to 75% on over 3,000 products. Went last year with a shopping list (spent about $30) and still bought about $20.00 worth of stuff I didn't need. I'm still looking for a Bundt pan - but with actual indentations - not so rounded out that when you frost the cake it just looks like a Ring Cake. I bought a couple of small offset spatulas that turned out to be 'priceless'. I get alot of use out of them. I also picked up a pan with 6 mini-loaf sections... haven't used it yet. I'm pretty pleased with a small jell roll/cookie sheet - it stays flat and the 'non-stick' finish on it is holding up OK. Most of the other tchotkes I bought I gave away - fancy cup cake papers and sprinkles and those colored 'melts'... I didn't realize how far the melts would go, so I had way too much. I'm at the point where if I bring something new into my house I have to remove something so the new stuff will fit.

Tiny thanks for the reminder on the offset spatula. Been wanting one. Also want a grill pan.
Need to replace a small fry pan, 8 x 8 (or 9 x 9) and and a 9 x 13. Bought parchment paper there 2 years ago. Almost out but will check the dollar store for size of roll & price before going to Wilton.
I also bought a couple thing I did NOT use (but only a few $$s worth) and will be MUCH more careful this time.
