I don't know if anyone here watches That's My Jam with Jimmy Fallon but I have to tell you how much I am enjoying the show. I am literally smiling and laughing throughout the whole show. Very few programs give me that much joy these days. If you haven't watched it I highly recommend it. Tuesdays on NBC.

It was extremely fun and entertaining. I watched the 1st episode of season 2. I didn't realize quite how talented Nicole Scherzinger and Jason Derulo actually were. Derulo singing opera was amazing and Nicole Scherzinger sang like I had never heard her before. Great show! Thank you for the recommendation. |

Several shows I like were canceled according to one of the articles I read. One of them is 'The Company You Keep'. Strongly recommend
checking it out on the ABC website or wherever you can view it.
I wonder if it was just put in an unfortunate time slot.

It was an okay show but probably not worth the cost due to lower ratings and I don't think the time slot factored in that much since other shows have done okay in that slot. |

The networks did some really strange things this season with their renewals and cancellations.
CBS- first they cancelled one of my favorite shows SWAT which caused a huge backlash from fans so they agreed to renew it for a final 13 episode season.
They barely renewed one of it's most popular shows Blue Bloods but did so with financial concessions.
They also canceled the first season show East New York which was a good quality show with fairly decent ratings. They used the excuse that they didn't have enough money because of the SWAT save which is BS! They could have renewed this one to mid season since SWAT will only be 13 episodes.
Fox- The 9-1-1 franchise is very popular but they canceled their highest rated show the original 9-1-1 and are keeping the much lower rated 9-1-1: Lone Star.
ABC then picked up 9-1-1 for next season. Good move by them but what was Fox thinking?
ABC- they still have several shows twisting in the wind waiting to find out if they will be renewed and apparently they have also shelved their entire scripted show library until 2024 and will only show reality and games shows every night in the fall. Probably because they think the writer's strike will linger which it already has for too long.
NBC- didn't really do anything noteworthy.

I LOVE Elsbeth! So glad it is doing well in the ratings (though that often doesn't seem to matter to CBS. They seem to randomly cancel top viewed shows quite often).
