I thought I would start a new thread for weekly/bi-weekly TV ratings and news tidbits. When TV guide does double issues (which I hate but they do it all the time) they only do ratings for 1 week instead of 2 so that is why I also said bi-weekly.

They left out "The Librarians" which I think announced a renewal for season 2, but it's another 10-12 episodes. Also cable and not network and I don't watch enough non-kid tv to know what's what.

I like The Mysteries of Laura and State of Affairs. I like The Mysteries of Laura too. But Icey's stats show it on the life support list.

Marg Helgenberger will be guest starring on Under The Dome this summer! I was really disappointed that they killed off both Mare Winningham and Sherry Stringfield.

Okay I am really bummed! It has been confirmed that one of my shows that was on the Life Support list is being cancelled. Revenge will end after 4 seasons.
1 down 2 left.

So they are wrapping it up this year? I watched the first few seasons but haven't watched it this year (figured I would catch it on Netflix). To me it is one of those story lines that can only go on for a limited time so I am okay with it ending.

I haven't enjoyed this season as much as the last 3 but still wasn't ready for it to end.

I gave up on Revenge after Margaux got hit by the car and Emily admitted to the world she was Amanda. I was done after that. I just couldn't get into this season.

American Idol I can't believe that show is even still on. I am surprised by CSI:Cyber as well. I only watched one episode. Did it get better?

No CSI:Cyber hasn't gotten better but ratings are dropping. You can see the huge drop off from it's first week when it narrowly beat Criminal Minds but now CM is 6th and Cyber 16. I still think it will be renewed though since it has remained consistently in the top 25.

Yeah, I can't believe Survivor is still on either. The one that really shocks me is The Bachelor. Who the hell is watching this crap? I watched 2-3 minutes of The Bachelor and that was enough for me.

My boss did say she didn't think she was going to watch it again.

One thing I found interesting in the Top 25 list; Big Bang was #2, which is not a surprise. However, the 9:30 episode, which is always a repeat, was #20. Think about how many shows that rerun beat out. No wonder CBS will do anything thing to keep that show going.
As far as Survivor goes, if I've watched 2 complete episodes, that's a lot. I thought it was a good concept, but it just never hooked me. I'm also suprised that not only is it still on, it's still doing pretty good in the ratings. My guess would be maybe another 5 years before it starts to play out.

I had to take a break from Survivor for a few seasons. I had just burned out on it. This is the first season I have watched in a few years & I am enjoying it. It's not a must see show for me but I enjoy the challenges. The camp talk, not so much. I sometimes FF through the BS if it bores me.

Has anyone else been seeing the ads for a new summer show on CBS called Zoo based on a James Patterson novel? It looks kind of creepy.
