I am that rare person who asks for advice here and either follows it or, at least, considers it. We always complain that most people don't want advice, just reassurance.
I had a thread a few months ago about the last semester for my MBA. I was thinking about doing two extra electives since I only had two mandatory classes left. The majority of you advised against that, and after considering your arguments, I decided to enroll only in the two required courses. Here I am now, with less than a month left in the program. Let me tell you, it has been a tough few months. The two classes are really demanding. Besides that, I'm at a point where I can see the finish line and all I want to do is cross it. I don't have the time, patience or inclination to go on. I'm tired. I've been doing the work full-time, study full-time routine for quite a while. I want out. There are other things in life besides a degree. A social life, volunteering, putting myself first, etc.
Besides that, life happens. I have to take better care of myself now; eat healthier, exercise every day, etc. My mom arrives tomorrow, and I had to go grocery shopping, mattress shopping, etc. So I don't see how I could have done it all and still keep up with four classes.
Thanks everybody. I will post a thread when I graduate next month ( I hope to graduate next month, both classes seem to going reasonably well), because I want to receive congratulations.
Seriously, though, it's a huge achievement for me and it's just starting to sink in.

So glad things are going reasonably well, hon. It's always hard to go to school while working full time but, if you can accomplish the goal you set for yourself, most folks find it was well worth the effort.

We are all happy for the good news. You have done well and we are excited for you. We are hoping our son will graduate this summer. Then we have to find him a job, which I am not looking forward to at all.
Enjoy all the successes that will come from your hard work.

35 people 'liked' your post, that must be a record or close to it. Congratulations on school.
