Our Y has free art lessons about every other month. They also offer Tai Chi which I might try out on Monday.

I have taken watercolor, acrylic and oil painting (free classes) and trust me when I say - the talent isn't there. I did take a "tole painting" class in the 70's and did OK with that.

Turn me loose stripping and refinishing anything wood and back up and watch me work

Or give me stained glass and I'll make you something pretty although that's an expensive hobby so put it on the back burner for a while.

Oh and my friends say I can plant a popsicle stick and it will bloom - but still can't draw a straight line with a ruler

Two of the mediums I use are colored pastel charcoals (chalks) and color graphite pencil drawing/sketching.
