Say this prayer each day for 9 days and on the 18th day your prayer will be answered. It has never been know to fail. Publication must be promised. Thank you St. Jude for answering my prayer.

I'm trying really, really hard to understand this. My sister's dog is in the end stages of lymph and spleen cancer and she's beside herself with grief. He's only five and a half. Are you saying that if she prays to St. Jude, Kovi will recover, since it never fails? Please help me understand.

Welts it's their belief system, they believe that praying to St. Jude gets them what they want. Do you believe Welts, does you sister believe ? And I'm honestly sorry about your sisters dog.

Yes, my sister is a believer. I just want an explanation. I just want to understand. How can it "never fail"?

.....
I also believe but I've never tried asking for St Judes help for fear that what I want may not be what is best for me and for those I love....
My question to Tired Tess...Did you get exactly what you want or did you get an answer that more than satisfied you..
Like Welts I want to understand why and how it works..
my theory is that there exists a natural law like quantum entanglement that can be activated by a combination of intense desire , faith , and hope or whatever unknown to me to cause the effect desired.

Those that believe pray to St Jude and find solace or maybe moral satisfaction on the fact that they tried all. Does it realy work? I have no idea, never tried to pray to a saint or something for help. I'd rather ask for help from a living person but I respect those that are asking for it from long passed people or their spirits.
So Welts if you are one of the "nonbelievers" that's fine but you could sugest that to your sister and maybe she will take that. I feel sorry for the dog and the pain and suffering that him and your sister are going throug but if doctors don't have a remedy then maybe your sister will find some peace if she prays?!

I have started the St. Jude prayer. I asked the Holy Spirit to interpret so I get the correct result.
Never fails can mean a lot. I just copied the prayer. The answer will come in God's timing.
I prayer to St. Anthony to help me find things; and it works.

Prayer helps me believe I've done all I can do. When my prayers are granted I give The Good Lord credit. If I don't get what I want I try very hard to understand things come to me in God's Good time. And as always, the answer may be "no". I believe "never fails" means that I'll be given the grace to understands God's answer.

" May the sacred heart of Jesus be adored, glorified, loved, and preserved throughout the world now and forever " is a beautiful prayer and yesterday I started it and intend to do it at every opportunity....
...Today my most pressing problem got worse but amazingly, unlike before, I now know why and what I must do to correct it.....so to me it works...
ETA: Thanks be TO GOD

Thanks be to Jesus and St. Jude for the miraculous changes that have occurred. There is still a long way to go, but it has been 18 days today that I starting praying for help.

I was going to lurk for a while and not post but felt I need to.
My MIL died April 6 and we had to travel 1250 miles for the funeral, another 350 miles to the burial place then the same mileage on the way home. The cemetery plots were bought in 1960 where they lived at that time.
Incredibly, everything went very well. A SIL made the arrangements. Zero travel issues. For such a sad situation, we were at peace. The family got along. The attorney met with us on short notice; and the will was short and straight forward. Everyone is just delighted my DH is handling the legal portion that should be done within a month.
Meanwhile, I am on year 3 of my brother's estate. The reason I prayed to St. Jude with help from the Holy Spirit to get the abundance in all areas that is being withheld from me. April 24 will be day 18 for me.
No matter how I am answered, I am grateful for the ability to pray for my needs. TBG - Thanks Be to God. Amen

Since day 2 I have experienced 4 or 5 miraculous events and what I thought was impossible is now almost granted....

I understand that: -"the best possible outcome for all involved" is what's prayed for. -"no, you can't have what you want" is an answer. - people interpret the above two as cop out responses.
What is the best possible outcome? If you're the judge of the best possible outcome and also the highest power you know why not rely on yourself to do all you can to ensure it?
Is it the worst possible outcome for my brother to die at age 44, leaving a wife and their kindergarten-age son without much money? Is it the worst possible outcome for 40% - 70% of registered voters to sit out on election day? They have the power to change that, if their government is really so bad, so why don't they? Is it the worst possible outcome for the opposing team to defeat your favourite team in a sports championship?
Are people who ask why their prayers aren't answered when they actually mean why things didn't go the least painless and most materially beneficial route for their personal interest aware that there's a well-known part of the New Testament where some guy is getting tortured and executed by crucifixion and he's asked his god more than once if he could maybe get out of all that?
I would like a miraculous event to happen. I don't know how to make it happen, but maybe just asking for help to make it happen and receiving it is an answered prayer. This miraculous event could be: - getting my faith restored in anything; - restoring my energy; - reducing my waistline; - seeing the world as a beautiful, magical place where dreams come true rather than a revolving planet of failure, pollution, violence and greed; - increasing my attention span through disciplined application of strategies, hints and tips.
You can believe in a divine power or you can believe in the community of humankind. Neither ism is going to guarantee you get everything you wish for.

Again, another favor granted.
I don't hide or keep this secret. I tell people. Some back away slowly; some smile and are happy for me.
To each his/her own.
