It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

Many doctor's offices today do a lot of their stuff by computer, so the pharmacy of your choice isn't stuck with trying to decipher a written prescription. Anytime a written prescription is difficult to read, a good pharmacist will call the doctor's office to ensure accuracy. Computerization has really, really helped with the illegible prescription/Dr.'s order debacle.

We are dealing with the average American idiot here- the kind of person that needs a warning label on a hair dryer so they don't use it in a tub.
You can't get a license to drive without showing you can do so responsibly- guns are sold to anyone with a pulse and cash.

I know, right?! That's why they should be kept under lock and key hidden in a closet or bank vault.

I support the gun safety programs of the NRA. But I believe the leadership is paranoid and borderline anti government. They seem to address second amendment militia groups. Carrying AK47's into fast food establishments!! Real hunters keep their guns in their trucks before entering stores. This reminded me of Jeff Foxworthy: You might be e redneck if ...your truck has a new sunroof because the shotgun fell off the rack when you slammed the door. LOL! Seen it happen when a guy was tossing ducks into the back of an old Ford Explorer. One hit the trigger of his shotgun, putting a hole in the roof! Talk about a redneck moment! It's still there with duct (duck) tape over it.

You, me, or any other layman may have a hard time reading a prescrip - but I've never had a Pharmacist mess up with a prescription. My niece is a Pharmacist and reading a Dr's scrawl isn't that difficult.
I can decipher mine easily enough by looking at the prescrip form as to what the med is, and the dosage strength & and # of times/day to take before it even reaches the Pharmacy to be filled.
Your link is also over 8 yrs old - so I wouldn't place much accuracy on its content. So the people who died 8 years ago from prescription error are of no consequence ?

Those deaths have no correlation to the NRA. So there will be no ax grinding in that direction.

You don't need a license to buy one. There are like what, 8,000 deaths a year from unlicensed drivers ? www.aaafoundation.org/sites/default/files/UnlicensedToKillResearchUpdate.pdf

A couple of points here, Every gun I have is loaded, (even if it is not) it is treated like it is loaded.
If we really get down to it, What is the difference between carrying a AK 47 or a holstered pistol in to a business? they both still guns. I would agree that an idiot would do that.

One of those two people is an asshole that is only doing it to intimidate people, or because 'they can because it is legal'. And an idiot.
I can handle holstered- although I think it is just as stupid. Concealed carry is the right way. Of course this can largely depend on where you live- Going into a Starbucks in the city is a whole lot different than going into a feed store in the country.
