www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/direction_of_country-902.htmlbefore you dismiss this as "not mattering", this survey has big political implications. these poll numbers were worse in 11/2010, better in 11/2012, and worse in 11/2014. i will leave it up to your collective recollections as to what happened in those three elections. point being this: if the trend continues, the numbers in 2016 will be better than either 2010 or 2014.
