Icey; I think the twist I was thinking about was by the end of the show, Oscar was almost as paranoid about getting sick as Felix, at least for a little bit. As far as the slob issue goes, last night's episode did show some of Oscar's messy side. His bedroom did look at lot more like the Jack Klugman version.

Not bad. I won't spoil it for you, but I enjoyed it. I think they are starting to get into a good rhythm, and I like the way the supporting cast is being handled.

Really liked last weeks show. It was a take off of one they did in the original where Oscar and Felix competed to see which one was the fittest. I love the montage of the events and laughed out loud when Oscar sneezed in his hands causing Felix to run away and forfeit the arm wrestling match.

Watched last week's show last night and liked it. Oscar crawling around the back of the swivel chair hilarious!
There were 2 episodes last night and I haven't watched them yet. But I did read we will finally meet Oscar's ex on the season finale. I think it is next week.

I can't stand this show. It's horrible and Mathew Perry can NOT act. The other guy is decent enough though. It sounds like MP's reading his lines in a monotone way. Bleh! DH and I were shocked how bad it is. I had to stay up and watch reruns of Friends to like him again.

DH and I were shocked how bad it is. I had to stay up and watch reruns of Friends to like him again. That's almost exactly what I said on a previous page. MP never could act and he can't seem to step out of the corny character he played on Friends. That droning voice and sour look - along with the constant need to stress ONE word in a sentence is grating on the nerves.
Even movies like The Whole Nine Yards & others that he's done, he's exactly the same in all of them. It's like the "Chandler" character is the only one he knows how to play.
I struggled through 1 episode of this new Odd Couple - and never looked at it again. It sure isn't anything close to as good as the original movie or TV series.
If it lasts more than a season (two at most), I'll be shocked. Better shows than this one have been canceled. The least the producers could have done is find a better comedic actor to play "Oscar". It wouldn't have been that difficult.
MP (to put it mildly) stinks as an actor.

I did enjoy the finale. It was another take on one of my favorite episodes from the original but with some different twists. Felix finks on Oscar to the IRS! I thought Oscar's ex was okay, what do you think? There is one episode I have not been able to see because it never showed up on demand.

I know they renewed this but it isn't on the fall schedule so I am guessing they are only doing 13 episodes like last year and it will be a mid season replacement.

I hate when they save stuff like that, it seems like they just think of them as filler and not good enough to be a full season. Second string. That or they're trying to kill a show they want to get rid of. Like the Sundays at 9PM slot.

Oh and FYI they moved CSI:Cyber to that Sunday killer spot so that doesn't make sense either. It is a new show and I know they aren't trying to kill it yet.

No, but how many have been in the filler spot and never gotten further? HALLELUJAH!!! Maybe they are trying to kill it? <<crosses fingers>>

Well we finally have a premier date for Season 2 on April 7th replacing Life in Pieces once it's season ends. Oh and Teri Hatcher will be in a couple of episodes! I like her!

Still top 25 ratings for the shortened 2nd season but CBS has not announced it's renewal yet. I am still enjoying it. Is anyone else still watching this and enjoyed season 2?
