So after some investigation we found out that the 'Vegas mom' killed after a road rage incident with her daughter actually went home, got her other kid that had a gun and went out looking for the car, they end up back home and have a shootout. I am thinking there is more to this story than just bad decisions. Hell I can see a self-defense case being made from the other party. One thing is for sure- if she only had a gun this would have ended better Lucky she didn't get her son killed as well.

I await hearing the other side of the story- I bet it is going to be much different. Lesson for armed drivers- calm the eff down and just let it go- in fact it is the first rule of carrying a weapon which was violated here by both parties. So much for that 'an armed society is a polite society' bullshit. Apparently not when they are in cars.

There is no such thing as polite society when it comes to driving on the roads...

No kidding- but once the incident is over move on. I am just thinking of the road rage videos I have seen and there are as many crazy women as men- and whether or not the person that killed her was some gang banger or lunatic- she went after him. She brought this upon herself.
Dollars to donuts the man that killed her is not going to be convicted for it. WAAAAY to much doubt- he's white (and that helps a shitload) and there was a gunfight. Who shot first? Who brandished a gun first? The lady took an aggressive action and did not call police. The guy might as well call Mark O'Mara and turn himself in

And to quote a comment in a thread about this- who was the 'good guy with a gun' in this situation?

This wasn't a road rage incident, but one time 27 years ago I was out appraising land with a co-worker in the car in a rural area when I noticed someone was following us-scared the heck out of me. I drove to the 1st place I could find that was open (it was a bar) and called the police and didn't leave the bar until the police came & the guy following us left the parking lot.
If you ever find yourself in a scary situation either drive right to the police station or someplace public. Anyone who would drive home & get someone with a gun & go out looking for someone else is acting like a total nut case. I can't see how the shooter gets convicted since the deceased came after him.
It's pretty stupid to go after someone after an initial road rage incident. Someone I know had a road rage incident then months later found out where the guy lived & went to the guy's house to harass him. It ended up with the guy who got harassed rearranging the other one's face.

This story keeps changing. Mom was scared and went home to get son/gun only to stalk the people who cut her off or maybe they didn't? The more versions I read the more it looks to me that mom might have been the aggressor all along...

My mom was followed and tailgated one night by some idiot. She was going to drive home but thought better of it. Instead, she drove to the Police Station. The guy got out and started raving at her and the cops came out. I don't know what the perceived "slight" was. Maybe she pulled out in front of him or something. But, the cops made him stay while she drove home so he couldn't follow her. That would have been a much smarter approach. Or, she should have ran in the house and called 911 instead of getting her son.

This story keeps changing. Mom was scared and went home to get son/gun only to stalk the people who cut her off or maybe they didn't? The more versions I read the more it looks to me that mom might have been the aggressor all along... Story changed some more - the person in the other car was some kid who lived a couple streets away from them - apparently the family knew this kid and knew he was bad news. Dad claims mom tried to help the kid, in the past. Kid liked to pose on social media with his guns, drug stash, etc. Dad is now claiming mom came home, then got her son and left in an attempt to hide her car, but that the punk kid saw her again, words were exchanged again, and he ended up shooting her. Which makes this even more confusing - if the Mom recognized the kid and knew where he lived, why not call the cops and tell them he tried to run her off the road? Give them his name and address. If the kid was a known bad actor, I'm sure the cops would have been glad to go pay him a visit. I'm not buying the whole 'she went to hide her car' thing - the kid knew her and knew where she lived, there was no point to hiding her car. Very sad story. Very screwed up kid, but very bad choices by the mom.

And here we go-
The 19-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a Las Vegas mom in what has been called a road rage attack bragged to friends after the killing, saying he "got those kids, they were after me, and I got them," according to a police warrant released Friday.
Suspect Erich Nowsch also allegedly told two of his friends that he fired a semiautomatic handgun 22 times in the Feb. 12 incident that left 44-year-old Tammy Meyers shot in the head. She died two days later.
Nowsch said he fired at two locations that night — once at a car that he thought had someone inside pointing a weapon, and again at someone running from that car after it pulled into a cul-de-sac, according to the warrant. Nowsch told a friend he was sure he hit someone at the cul-de-sac, the warrant says.
Nowsch told the friends he thought he saw a gun being waved from the window of that car, so he "put a clip in his gun and started shooting at the green car," according to the warrant.
And the other version-
The events of that night began as Meyers and her 15-year-old daughter were returning home from a driving lesson — that's when a silver car pulled up beside them and the daughter reached over and honked the horn, police said.
Suddenly, the car cut in front of them and then "spun sideways" to block their path. The driver, described as 6 feet tall, exited his car and told her, "I'm gonna' come back for you and your daughter," according to the warrant.
That sounds a little made up to me- very much like what guilty people say when they are worried- especially when she knows the shooter so well. Yes- much more to this story.

I am betting there is much more to the story. No kidding. This story changes every time someone opens their mouth. Anyone have any idea og the current status?
