Samaritan? Sorry I don't buy that as the reason. They can always change the storyline. The ratings are still very good.

I am not quick witted like you so a lot of things go right over my head sometimes.

I can see how you did take me seriously, I'm pretty sure I've already complained about that story line. lol

Okay CBS has now really pissed me off!!! POI is not even on the 2016 premier schedule? I googled and there is an article that says it may not come back until the summer. First they cut it down to 13 episodes and are cancelling it after Season 5 and now they couldn't even fit it on their lousy schedule. I HATE CBS!

It's too bad they're cancelling it.
This is one of the few shows I watch when I get the chance. I like the characters.

One of the few shows I liked but it went off the rails for me a while back but most shows do. I watched a couple of reruns the other night so I'm sorta catching up where I left off.

It looks like the final season of POI is finally premiering on May 3rd, with two episodes per week until the finale on June 21.
I hope Michael Emerson does more television. I've been in love with him since I first saw him in LOST many years ago.

Did anyone watch it the other night? Disclaimer: I didn't, I had other stuff to do and since I haven't kept up in a while I opted to skip it.

Sad when the dog is the best part. I do like Bear, the story line was wearing on me when I quit though.

I love Bear!! No this show I watch on DVD when it comes out. But I hope they go out with a BANG! I can't wait for the DVD to come out. Although there was an article in this weeks TV guide about the final season and it said they are looking for other options (since CBS sux!) since they have a lot more stories to tell! Oh I do hope they find another network to pick them up!!!

Here's a PoI trivia challenge (for a coveted 'like' by Virgil): Why did Mr. Reese name the dog "bear"?

I am still several episodes behind, but I have to say: Finch singing "We're Not Gonna Take It" in an Irish accent may be one of the Best. Things. Ever.

Well, it's over.
And now I need a support group for people who get too attached to fictional characters.

Why does Hollywood continually fail in wrapping up long standing shows with an ending that satisfies their core audience? I understand certain characters must be killed off, but still a little surprising and very disappointing.

I didn't watch last night because I'm way behind as is DS and he didn't want to know how it all ends. DH was asleep because he wasn't feeling well.
Who'd they kill off?

As for the finale, I'm no TV critic, but I think they did an adequate job of wrapping things up, while sort of leaving other things open....just in case.
I may or may not have cried throughout the entire episode.

DS and I were speculating on which one they'd kill off. We may not be right in the head. Glad you thought it was a good wrap up though.

Fitch reunites with his fiancee. Shaw, Fusco, and Bear carry on the business of saving numbers.

You left out Root. Did she run off already and I missed it? Major spoilers if you haven't seen it yet:
She was killed a few episodes ago. But...
The machine took her voice as its (her?) own. Also, she was in the finale as a hallucination or something when the machine was talking to Finch.

I'm not worried about spoiling this one, I've lost track and interest a season ago. So thanks for letting me know how it ends! The 2nd part of your post is rather fitting megaptera

I figured you didn't care about spoilers , but just in case there are others who don't want to be spoiled. I know Icelandic Woman mentioned she was about a season behind.
Off topic, but can you believe we still have to wait until 2017 for the next season of Sherlock? Ugh!

I knew you'd be nice about no spoilers right out in the thread, and expected it.
I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG FOR SHERLOCK! I know I have to, but they are just so mean. <<pouts in corner>> (I have a thread somewhere in here about it but naturally there's not much traffic)
