I'm also on "Instant" on my profile, but as I informed you yesterday, I can't get a check mark to appear when I click on the box to the left .

The checkbox is to receive a notification on the forum (like you do with PMs). But that wouldn't apply for email, which is why you can't mark it.

I also switched it to "instant" after the first email but still didn't receive the second. Checked the spam box and nothing there either.

Pb app... I found it, but I didn't even know the forum changed names, once I logged on the PC and saw that, I was able to fix my app.

Just checked my settings. E-mail address is correct and setting is set to "instant"... But... just checked my E-mail and no mail received (well... none from here anyway... I did have some e-mails for miracle pills from Dr. Oz... and some "male enhancements" e-mails... so the e-mail account is working).

Thank you all. We do know that some mail providers seem to block mail from PB outright, just assuming it's spam. Unfortunately, there's not a lot we can do about that.

I didn't get either email. I have gmail. For what it's worth I regularly get emails from another proboards forum at that email address.
My profile shows instant for mass email and my email address is correct for both this forum and on the global proboards settings. |

I had mine set to not get mass email but now switched to instant. I didn't get email. If you just switched it, you wouldn't get the mail retroactively. It would only apply from the point you changed it onward. |

My settings are where they should be, my email address is correct, but I didn't receive either mailing. I'm on Gmail, and like others have said, I have gotten emails form other Proboard accounts in the past, including this one. I don't know what the glitch is, but thanks for trying Moon.

I just hope that the majority of those who are here daily have noticed the url change and know to change their bookmarks. i don't want to lose anyone when it stops the automatic redirecting in another 10 days-ish.

I am on Instant and got nothing. I wonder is Yahoo is blocking as spam. Yahoo sent mine through. The only instant I noticed is connected with mass emails, which I have elected not to get.
But I received both. Is there an instant somewhere I should have checked so I don't get mass emails?
