On Wednesday, after I changed our name and URL, I sent out a mass email with that information to all members of the forum. I need to know if anyone got it.
It's important to note that if your settings are to NOT receive emails, then of course you won't have. If, however, you're opted in to mail from us, then I would like to know if you got it.
To check if you are opted in or out please go to Profile > Edit Profile > Notifications tab. Down at the very bottom, you should have the word "instant" in the drop down if you are opted in. If that's the case for you, and you still didn't get the mail, then please let me know.
And of course, if you're not opted in, and want to be, that's where you would change it.

When I checked my profile, it was blank. All other questions had answers filled in. I dropped the drop box, hit to opt in, and it filled in the blank. I did not get the original e-mail, but I assume it was because the box was blank.

Just so you're all aware, I did just send a second email, at the request of the support board.
I'll watch for it, moonbeam. I think they only send out the mass emails once a day and I don't have a clue what time. Nothing there now.

I don't think I ever edited those settings. Mine was marked "never", so maybe that's the default choice.

It may be, mollyanna58. I had opted out on purpose, because I obviously already know about whatever it is I'm mailing about. However, as a test, I re-enabled mail and got this one right away.

When I went to profile, edit profile, personal, a defunct address is listed. When I chose Edit, the proper address appeared. I don't know how to fix that, or if I need to ... ? When I went to notifications, everything except mass email is checked, and the mass email checkbox is grayed out. Anyway, it says instant, and I didn't get anything at my proper (yahoo) address.

What would the email look like from you? Addy, subject line etc. I don't open anything that lands in my spam folder even if it looks like from someone I know! I usually check with person before opening.
Don't remember seeing anything in spam folder that would have made me think from proboards or you.
But not a problem here since I just clicked on icon on desktop and it directed me to the new url.

NoNamePerson, the sender was Your Money and More, subject "new name and url". And yes, it will direct you to the new url - for 2 weeks. It won't after that. That's why bookmarks need to be updated. JustLurkin, if the email in there is current now, you may not need to worry about it. You should maybe check the pb dashboard though to make sure your global id had that same address. Just go to proboards.com and look under account or settings. Can't recall what it says now and I'm on my phone vs pc at the moment.

Are you using tapatalk or the pb app? Either way, you will have to search for our new url or forum name in there to get it to work again.
