No, it won't work. In fact, it's going to do the opposite, IMO. By killing their own and turning Jordan against them they've taken another step toward alienating the other countries in the Middle East. This isn't going to work well for them. I expect to see more countries in that region joining Jordan. Hope so and if so, I believe Israel will have to do as it did ..with USA pushing them..stay out of it..Can't have Arab countries and Israel working together...well Egypt and Jordan yes as long as not to obviouse but still , if going to be attacking Arabs..even ISIS..best to sit on the side lines beyond possible doing recon and giving intelligence if they have something, information, others don't..Now that I am thinking that way, I am wondering if we will see ISIS turning their attention toward Israel..to goad them into some kind of actions ...again, not cool to have Israel and Arab nations on the same side... Jeeze but Middle East is something isn't it...{sheesh...}

uhh
They stand in the front row at public beheadings and crucifixions held in Raqqa, the Islamic State’s stronghold in Syria. They’re used for blood transfusions when Islamic State fighters are injured. They are paid to inform on people who are disloyal or speak out against the Islamic State. They are trained to become suicide bombers. They are children as young as 6 years old, and they are being transformed into the Islamic State’s soldiers of the future.
The young fighters of the Islamic State could pose a particularly dangerous long-term threat because they’re being kept away from their normal schools and instead inculcated with a steady diet of Islamist propaganda designed to dehumanize others and persuade them of the nobility of fighting and dying for their faith.
"[The Islamic State] deliberately deny education to the people who are in the territory under their control, and not only that, they brainwash them," said Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster, who’s tasked with thinking about future threats and planning for the Army’s future. "They engage in child abuse on an industrial scale. They brutalize and systematically dehumanize the young populations. This is going to make this a multigenerational problem." foreignpolicy.com/2014/10/24/children-of-the-caliphate/

I've read that Jordan isn't a superpower therefore it can't do much, but I disagree.

I've read that Jordan isn't a superpower therefore it can't do much, but I disagree. I recently read a article that says Jordans Air Force is a small one...total of 75 fighters...F-15 and F-5...'s, older generation but considering ISIL has no air force but still..to small to do a continuous steady bombing campaign over a long time period..One of the largest air forces of Arab countries is the UAE....they recently with drew from the campaign against ISIL due to no plan or capability to rescue downed pilots if needed...but have just recently sent a squadron of modern planes to Jordan in support of their campaign. One of the problem with Jordan as far as a effective fighting force..while their armed forces are modern and well trained, they also are small..Ground troops mostly special operation types and needed in Jordan for internal protection..also money plays a big part in what they can do...there are over a million refugees in Jordan from Syria and even Iraq still and the cost mostly of maintaining these folks and giving aid falls mostly on Jordans shoulders..and the truth is , Jordan just doesn't have the $ needed to do this job.. Whether the wealthiest Arab countries are helping..UAE, Emerets and Saudis are helping I don't know..actually I can't keep up with who these people are friendly with who they are angry with..Since Jordan like Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel , I am not sure how they really feel toward Jordan and how helpful they are..I know Israel stand ready to support Jordan against what ever if needed ..their own self interest and cooperates as a USA Allie as Jordan is..but has to be careful as to how much public help they would give Jordan other wise you risk all Arabs getting P off...Even though there is a peace treaty and government interaction, cooperation....on the public people side , there is little interaction I believe ..same as in Egypt...In Egypt there has always been heavy anti semetic propaganda..sponsored by the State..not sure if same is done in Jordan...

7,000 fighters? What the heck have we been bombing over there for months? Jordan in a weekend kills 7,000?
How many have we taken out? Remember, we provided the targets for them. Have we been holding back on attacks?

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group has lost 20 percent of its military capabilities since the start of U.S.-led coalition air strikes in September, General Mansour Al-Jbour, head of the Royal Jordanian Air Force, said in a press conference on Sunday.
Jordan has carried out nearly 20 percent of the total sorties conducted by the U.S.-led coalition against ISIS in Syria to date, Jbour said, adding that they had been careful not to hit any civilians.
The sorties have led to the “degrading” of nearly 20 percent of the hardline militants’ capabilities, he said.
“We are determined to wipe them from the face of the Earth.”
Jbour also said that the coalition’s air strikes have killed 7,000 members of the militant group. (from link provided above, emphasis added)
Reality once again rips your argument right out from under you.

American hostage Mueller's death confirmed by Obama, familyWASHINGTON, Feb 10 (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama on Tuesday confirmed the death of Kayla Mueller, a U.S. aid worker who had been held hostage by Islamic State militants, saying the United States would "find and bring to justice the terrorists who are responsible." Mueller's family also said in a statement that they were "heartbroken" to learn of her death and released a copy of a letter she had written in 2014 while in captivity. The comments by Obama and the family come four days after Islamic State said Mueller, a 26-year-old humanitarian worker from Arizona, was killed when Jordanian fighter jets bombed a building where she was being held, although Jordan expressed doubt about the Islamist militant group's account of her death. Mueller was determined to have died after her Islamic State captors privately contacted her family over the weekend, a White House spokeswoman said.
