Love this show and James Spader as Raymond "Red" Remmington - a former Gov't agent and fugitive working with the FBI on a plea bargain to put away criminals from his "list".
It's a dark drama, but really good.

DH loves this show as well. I watched a few episodes and agree, it is VERY well written and the acting is outstanding.
However, it's wayyyyyyyyyy too dark for me.

Love this show!! It looks like it's going to be a great season and a lot of pieces will find their place into the puzzle!
Also, The American's seem to ready to blow us away with another exciting season!

How she does not actually know by now she is Red's daughter, is beyond me. And she is a crack FBI agent? Last night's episode was pretty anti-American Government. But then it is on NBC

I broke up with it about 3/4 of the way through last season. Have they followed up with what is going on with her husband & his hidden documents?

The last two episodes have been really strange. Red in the deserted resort in the off season with a ghost was lost on me. I get finding the necklace in the sand on the beach, but still a strange episode. Last week's episode tried to bring it back to the story, but still off base. My wife and I still think the heroine is alive. I think the doctor treating her somehow made it look like she died, and has her in an undisclosed location protecting her from everyone. Red's clean up specialist might be in on it.
Does anyone know if Lizzie's contract was up or she wanted out?

Well, in real life "Lizzie" is pregnant or already had her baby. So I think they wrote her out of a few shows.
I think she's alive.
