a bill proposed this week by Republican state Rep. Dan Flynn would allow educators to use “deadly force” against their students. Flynn’s Teacher’s Protection Act states that a teacher is justified in killing a student at school, on a school bus, or at a school-sponsored event in self-defense or to protect school property.
The prospect of having to shoot a student in class—for behaving violently or stealing a flute, scenarios the legislation would protect—is a very “scary thought,”
Emphasis mine. Self defense is one thing, defending property is quite another.

Maybe they should make it mandatory for teachers to carry a weapon?!
That way maybe we weed out the "future criminals" in kindergarten. Everybody knows how rude and stubborn those kindergarteners can be. Why waste the time and resources to educate them? Take them out now, they are nothing but future criminals!
