I am happy to see the British hunk back! I really like him! I am lukewarm on the other two but they are a vast improvement on Bishop.

A lot of comments have been posted on FB about how much weight Sean Murray (McGee) has lost and how really sickly he looks. I agree he does not look good at all. His weight has gone up and down over the last few seasons but not this severely.

Yay!! NCIS finally hired a good actress I really like!!!
Maria Bello as Jacqueline (Jac) will be joining the team. I loved her when she was on ER back in the day and was bummed that she only stayed one season. I have seen her in guest parts on other shows. I think she will be able to hold her own with Gibbs.

Now they just need to shove Bishop out the door.

I kept wanting to call her Jackie, the name she had on Blue Bloods. I can't even remember the character's name on here. I just keep calling her Jackie.

Yep I still like Maria Bello. Glad she is there. But now that Abby is leaving and Ducky cutting back on the amount of episodes he does it may be time to put this show to rest. Any thoughts?

Everyone on this show brings a special talent. I wonder what the new Abby will be like. It would be a mistake to try to follow her quirky character. But someone too serious wouldn't work either.

They'll bring in another marshmallow character. Not one character has a bit of edge to them. I felt like I was watching the Brady Bunch the other night. I think I just need to give up the ghost!

So we are getting closer to Abby's farewell and I think the Casey character they introduced last week might be who they are going to replace her with. I really have no opinion one way or the other about Casey yet.
Anyway according to postings on FB there is some kind of bad JuJu going on between Pauley Perrette and Mark Harmon about his dog. I don't know if it is true or not but they also made mention of the fact that Pauley and Mark have had no scenes together at all this season which is very odd. I hadn't really noticed it until I read that and have paid particular attention in the last couple of weeks and thinking back I think it is true. I don't remember seeing them in the same room at all this season. They talked on the phone in one scene last week but were never in the same room.
Has anyone else noticed this? Very strange after being so close for all these year.

I don't see that as a problem that needs to be solved quickly.  In fact, it might be more interesting if they have different characters introduced during the process.

Casey could be a convenient drop-in.  But Abby's diminutive fried Carol Wilson (Meredith Eaton) might be an interesting temporary solution even if she isn't there for the longer term.

I'd love to a string of hopefuls who don't quite fit until they finally find someone who is totally not abbey but brings her(his) own new set of personality traits into the mix.

Any great series isn't about the destination.  It's about the journey.

I tried to get back into NCIS this season and I felt like I was watching paint dry and who is the latest silly blonde - think her name is Jackie. Does she have a purpose on the show. Now remember I am hit and miss so I guess I shouldn't be critical but lordy I just can't stick with it. Everyone seems to be silly and just story line repeats. The show needs to drift off into the sunset

This used to be one of my favorite shows.  But, when they hired Bishop, I had to stop watching.  Then they hired Fez from That 70's Show (are you kidding me?!), and I can't even stand to listen to it from a different room while my husband watches.  It's too bad, it was an amazing show for a really long time.

So yeah this. Why can't they kill this show? The TV was on last night for background noise and NCIS - New Orleans is even worse than this. They need to kill this and bring in a new show

You know it's in trouble when they trotted out Sr. or at least I think they did. I half assed watched it just to give one more chance. That was it's one more chance and no more. I guess a new generation will keep it going They need to bomb the whole facility for the 10th time and kill everyone off - well except maybe Ducky!!

So I had a thought last night while I was watching last weeks shows on demand about Pauley Perrette's leaving NCIS. Maybe she doesn't really want to leave but the bad feelings going between her and Mark have gotten so bad she has to.
Anyway it occurred to me that Percy is leaving NCIS: New Orleans at the end of this season too and Sebastian that was their forensics person became a field agent this year and they never replaced him. And Abby's character is from NO so why not just transfer to that show? Makes perfect sense to me.

I am so pissed at how Abby's exit was done! My biggest gripe is that they felt it necessary to kill off Clayton Reeves to facilitate her departure storyline. I really liked him and he wasn't bad to look at and he could act circles around that horrible Bishop!
I mentioned earlier that Mark and Pauley have not had one scene together this year so there was definitely an issue going on between them off set. But seriously? Mark Harmon couldn't swallow his enormous ego to give a proper goodbye to the person that has been like a daughter to him for 15 years? REALLY?
The only scene he shared with her was in the hospital room when she was unconscious. She writes him a goodbye letter and then stands across the street from his house and signs goodbye through the window.

I think I might be done with this show. If it wasn't for McGee, Ducky and now Sloane I would be.

I forgot it was on. Thought I had reminder set but guess not. I did switch over in time to see Abbey standing across the street from Gibbs house. I thought they were going to pull a Mike Franks and kill her in Gibbs yard. I did find a good recap of episode online and read thru it. So I know what happened.

I'm guessing they didn't feel that was necessary.  Probably just killing two birds with one stone.  They really need to open some cast space for what hopefully will lead to some tension at the core.  Any tension lately has been ancillary.

What I'm suggesting is some way to create the same tension we saw in the Tony/Kate and Tony/Ziva dynamic.  Clayton Reeves wouldn't fit that kind of situation.  They need a borderline MCP and a strong female central character who slaps him back a bit. 

When we look back at what made the early seasons great, Tony/Kate, Tony/Probie, Tony/Ziva was a big part of that.  I dunno how they can manage to inject new characters to create a similar ongoing tension but that might be the make or break regarding whether the series can survive.

I Agee! I feel like it has turned into a Brady Bunch show. No grit at all. They just kept throwing in new characters hoping something would stick.

Season finale tonight. Might be some grit involved with Sloane. Of course they could kill her off, though.
