I love it! I want Spencer to find somebody to love. That's the hopeless romantic in me. It doesn't need to be a major part of any story line. I don't want too much lovey-dovey in the story line. |

I meant to post this last week but forgot. So based on last week's episode I am thinking another spin off. But why Gary Sinise? Are they just recycling CSI actors since they are out of work? I didn't watch CSI:NY because I was never really a Gary Sinise fan and it didn't interest me.
Oh and the last spin off they tried to do failed big time. CSI definitely has the upper hand on spin offs.
What do you all think?

Oh, they're doing a spin off, I saw an article somewhere. I like Lieutenant Dan and did watch CSI:NY, so as long as the rest of the actors don't suck, I'll be ok with it. The ones on the last CM spin off just didn't gel for me. And I don't like asymmetry so Forrest Whitacre's face bugged me. One of the long list of reasons I'm going to hell.  |

Wait, there was a spinoff? What was it called? And I've sort of sucked my husband into watching CM too. I think he's going to be the one to order the series and watch them in the correct sequence. I think he finds this current system of watching whatever's sitting in the 10 slot CM DVR queue confusing or something, esp. when it jumps from episodes in the 50s to 120s to even later, all in 2 weeks.  |

The original CM spin off was Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. It had Forrest Whitacre and Janine Garafalo in it. (Did I spell her name right?) Wasn't that great. New one hasn't started yet, but they had the introductory episode a week or 2 ago.

I'm usually all in on spinoffs but I'm not feeling this one. I think because part of what makes CM work is the chemistry between the characters & I just don't see it with the new one. I guess we will see.

OMG What? JLH is leaving?? I read absolutely nothing about that anywhere. The only thing I read was the producers were asked what they were going to do next season when both JLH and AJ Cook went on maternity leave and they just said something about a great opportunity for guest stars. Which sounds like JLH would still be there.
If it is true then yea and I know CL will be jumping up and down.

Just googled Criminal Minds a short time ago and several sites said that the new cast member is Aisha Tyler from the show "The Talk".
Also read that ANOTHER regular cast member is leaving the show, but they're not saying which one yet |

Well I have to say I am not disappointed in them casting Aisha Tyler. She was on CSI as a lab tech for a season and I liked her. But from what I read she is not a permanent replacement yet. She is only slated to be in a few episodes. I think she is filling in for AJ Cook while she is on maternity leave.
If I had to guess who else might be leaving I think it could be Morgan.
