I'd like it if they weren't screwing up Sherlock Holmes. They lost me at Irene Adler. I was willing to give them a little leeway with the stories, but no. Just no. If I call it a cop show with stolen names, it's ok. But that is just the point. It would be boring and probably not get high ratings if they stuck to the same old formula. I mean how many versions of Sherlock Holmes shows have been done over the years and they all seem to be the same formula. This show is a fun twist on it and it gives it a fresh, different look. I know I wouldn't be interested in watching it if it was the same old, same old. And the quirkiness of this version of Sherlock keeps me intrigued. He is fun to watch. JMHO
I haven't cared to watch any version of Sherlock over the years. I much prefer the stories. I caught the BBC Sherlock on PBS once and was hooked. This is far worse as far as the usage/respect of the original works go. JMHO I did watch ONE Basil Rathbone movie, and absolutely hated it. ETA: And lol at same old formula, every detective show is some version of Sherlock. Every type of show has a formula. I either like what they do with it or not.

Aww, that sucks for her, but it'd be nice for me if she'd come back! I won't hold my breath though.

I watched a couple of episodes and agree, it wasn't better or worse than most. I just didn't like it enough to remember WHEN it was on. Or maybe it was opposite an established favorite, I don't remember.

It just shows up on my box & I watch it when I run out of my favorite shows. Or right before I go to bed when I don't feel like having to concentrate on a plot. Just mindless viewing. That is how I feel about most sitcoms.

I don't have a DVR yet, so I watch when it's on or don't. I find I never go looking for something after it airs and I missed it. (Hulu was good for seeing some stuff next day but I never did use it.) I feel like most TV is mindless viewing. I also can't tell you what I just watched without thinking about it, unless it was a particularly memorable episode.

I also can't tell you what I just watched without thinking about it, unless it was a particularly memorable episode. I can usually remember what happens on my favorite dramas. Unless it is some plot arc that goes on & on, then I get lost or lose interest. I'm simple, just give me the crime of the night & catch the bad guy in the hour.
And I will fight to the death for my DVR. I'm very attached. I think I love it more than I loved my Ex

I can tell you the personal things, but which crime was what, nah. So I won't forget that Garcia has a boyfriend, for example, but will forget what the crime of the week was.

I haven't watched this week's episode yet. I planned to last night but a friend called & after an hour on the phone I wasn't up for something intense. I needed more laid back.

So did you all read about Adam Rodriguez from CSI: Miami joining CM as a regular next season. I didn't watch much of CSI: Miami but he was one of the few characters on there I did like. I am going to give him a chance before judging. Let's just hope he is the only change and they DON'T bring back JLH!

I haven't, but anything is better than continually trying to fit a female into the group. They've had bad luck with that.

I had to google him since I didn't watch CSI: Miami. He is good looking but not even close to Shemar.

There is nothing decent going on for summer tv so I recorded a small CM marathon. I think I've watched most of them but some are older & I don't remember so it's good.

He was incredibly annoying in CSI: Miami but the whole theme with him and Calleigh was just..annoying. Delko was such a twit.

I haven't watched CM in forever. Do they still use the word "unsub" 14,000 times per episode? Don't know why but it got to where I would cringe when the word was used. I actually counted the number of times they used it - just because. Think that was the last time I watched it.
Maybe I should go back and give it a try.
