US TV channel Fox News has made an on-air apology after a terrorism pundit described Birmingham as a no-go area for non-Muslims.
Steven Emerson, billed as an expert on terrorism-related issues, was described by the prime minister, David Cameron, as “a complete idiot” and was widely mocked by Twitter users after informing viewers the city was “totally Muslim” and was not visited by people of other faiths.
Emerson issued a string of apologies to British media outlets over his “terrible, inexcusable error” during a broadcast last weekend and has also donated £500 to the city’s children’s hospital.

To add insult to injury, Emerson said that watching himself on TV is "just like waterboarding".
Yeah, that's exactly what waterboarding must be like.

So much for Fox's fact checking.

So much for Fox's fact checking. When has Fox "News" ever bothered with a trivial little detail like fact-checking?

Again Fox "noise" proves it isn't a news source. Just an entertainment network.

Isn't "Fox News" (already an oxymoron, in and of itself) + "Expert" an oxymoron?
Interesting thought: What do you call it when you make an oxymoron using at least one term that's also an oxymoron?

It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

There's a lot of that going around. It appears Tamiflu is useless against it.

I never have watched Fox unless accidently found myself on their site..While I usually go to CNN, even they recently, actually more then just recently, seem to gone to producing news rather then just reporting it and seem to also like to promote incidents over blown just so they can have something to talk about...I find the Public broadcasting news is the best...Charlie Rose superb for guests and discussions, even Fareed Zakaria has got on my nerves lately..
