that there is a Continent, many countries involved, conspiracy going on in Europe and when one thinks about it , most likely in the States too..and possible Canada and even parts of South America ...we have already experienced this in New York, Boston, outside and on US military posts...

I see that in Brussels they have captured one of the perpetrators. In this case , where partners  of this individual showed their hand before being brought down , permanently, I  have no problem with enchanced interrogation procedures to possible find out as much information as possible if the perp has anything to disclose..to be done asap to possible stop or head off or find out who and where leaderships of these organizations might be...

These people, perps, strike out willy nilly with little thought of who are the innocents being targeted..Children, the aged, just average folks just minding their own business..for these people they are all legitimate targets for why few of us know or understand..

While there is always the threat and worry of State vs State conflicts, even possible the use of Nuclear destruction, most likely what we are seeing in Paris , Europe, the States , the middle east..this is most likely the type of wars the world will be now experiencing and all nations , no matter their own national interests , are at risk..

It seems all nations have groups with in their border who seem to have a bitch on something..that includes the US, Russia, China, Turkey, Israel, all the middle East..many countries in South America...so it behooves the legitimate nations, even those we might have disagreements with, to work together against those who have demonstrated nonsensual violence against innocents ..no sitting on the sidelines just because the latest attack might not seem to affect them..one never knows when one of those unhappy groups that it seems every country and region has might next attack those who are sitting on the sidelines...

If effective...oh yeah....Point is, from my end..it's usefulness and legitimacy is something that would be used pretty immediately...if strong suspicion that there is a immediacy to a threat...not to be used for some esoteric idea of possible threat way down the line ...just for the hell of it..However, from the above report..it seems there have been knowledge of many returnees { ten units were raided..that's a lot of people } strong suspicions of planning similar attack as in Paris, proved by actions by firing on authorities and by report one actually captured, not killed...of individual from  the war zone in the middle east....It is what it is..it is not so much conventional armies going at it with the rules of war..prisoner captures, Geneva convention...Granted civilians have been targets since forever , especially since the world wars , city bombings as examples...but now it seems to have reached another level...at least by me...While not suggesting or wanting to see it come back, but one of the problems of the professional military..again my opinion, is that there are so few who really serve today so the experience, not just of actual combat but even the training of people...very little experience as to what it really is all about , and watching movies, TV special, action dramas like the one on the take down of Osama and such, really doesn't do it...War is indescribable...the smell of, the adrenalin rush, the terror, the sudden loss of buddies, loved ones and the brutality of it all..

Water boarding just one of the aspects of it all...whether one likes it or not...Authorities are just now trying to get a handle on who the enemy are, who the leadership is, how they communicate, were located, their agenda..and such...

Have people close to you , loved ones..close friends , lost as these folks were...maimed and killed in Boston...what was being planned in Brussels...which are happening every day in Iraq, Bagdad..I doubt if you would have such a feeling..More that authority,  if given the chance , do all they could to stop these types of attacks, murders, maimings of innocents just because ....

Thats my feeling but of course your entitled to yours...no problem from me on that..we just disagree ...

Waterboarding is a waste of good, clean water. Some might think is effective but I don't see it.
Pain, sheer pain however, antiquated idea as it might be is more effective!
