It's a great pity the right of free speech isn't based on the obligation to say something sensible.

Yeah... I see that working REALLY well in a state that has a habit of getting near (or below) ZERO, on occasion, every single year.
Sure, Officer, It's freezing cold out, and I'll catch frostbite... but... I won't cover up my face to help avoid it.

Oh great! I wear a hoodie underneath my winter jacket when it gets below zero, just for layering purposes. I guess I'd better stay put, & stay out of Oklahoma, at least in the Winter.

Someone posted a link a few days ago about U.S. states and a snarky comment about each one. Here was Oklahoma's:

EVERY state has a bunch of idiot laws on the books. Our local papers do a round up every once in a while and, of course, NOTHING is done by our towns or state legislatures. If the police departments actually bothered to enforce them there would be an UNREAL out cry from most residents.

Are they gonna round up kids on Halloween? The bill's language includes exemptions for religious garments, weather protection, safety or medical purposes, parades, Halloween celebrations, masquerade parties, "minstrel troupes," circuses, sporting groups, mascots or "other amusements or dramatic shows." (From link provided) I see it as simply something the police can use to harass as they desire.
