Do you have a link Pat? I hear you about getting good looking, comfortable pants. I just picked up a pair of skinny jeans in 4 colours because the fit is right and that is so impossible to find.

I looked them up--hard to tell from the picture. But, alas, they don't come in tall sizes--so I won't be breaking my New Year's resolution (shopping moratorium) tonight.
FYI... I love Land's End jeans. Very comfortable and seem to have a lot of stretch.

Yaay Pat. I love it when I find something that fits just right. And I have been wondering why they don't put a little stretch in the waste of women's clothing. Between bloating and eating, the size of my stomach is a moving target throughout the month.

A 5" elastic waistband? I assume that goes across your tummy and works like control-top panty-hose or girdle. In which case, you'd have to wear a loose-fitting over-shirt or tunic type top to cover the band. Kind of defeats the purpose of creating a slim illusion.
As for not wearing underwear with them - really?
I can't imagine wearing any type of pant without any underwear - except maybe pj bottoms when sleeping.
I would think wearing any type of pants without undies would be very uncomfortable - especially with stretch-jeans because they're so body-fitting - you'd have chafing of the girly-bits - not to mention creating a camel-toe look. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/tongue.png)

Interesting, they look like my maternity pants...which, are of course, extremely comfortable.

I'm 5'9" tall and the straight leg fit me well so unless you are taller then that they are long enough.
I have all kinds LL Bean, Lands End, Walmart, Levis, Ralph Lauren, and many others and these are the best. But I can already see they look better with no underwear on and nope you can't see through them. They may be popular all over I don't know. But here in Houston I see so many leggings and things like that being worn. In Indiana well shall we say in the area I'm from they couldn't make them big enough if you know what I mean.
I like the activewear but these are better.
5'10" with REALLY long legs.

I bookmarked the site and am going to try to find them locally so I can actually try them on. I'm desperate for bottoms that look good and are comfortable.

Weekends are meant for no underwear, jeans or not.

I can't find this brand on macys.com. Help? I just order new straight legs from macy last week and wish I could find this one you talk about!
Does not matter your height, but your inseam. My mother is taller than me but has shorter legs. When jeans shrink on me I can give to her to wear! Patstab will you measure inseam and tell us (size and inseam if you willing!).
Edited: On shopping channel link it says 31" inseam. I wear 33" inseam and shorter than you.

Don't know about Macy's, but Dillards carries the brand.

The no underwear is strictly to not have lines underneath. I bought some jeggings that do look like worn jeans. I wear underwear with a panty liner under them and they do no show a line. They do need underwear to catch the sweat. My abs could be flatter for the style but they are great in the gym for winter. Thanks for the link.

But are these made of material like yoga pants?
Also try NYDJ jeans. A little pricey, but they go on sale in department stores.

I've worn Nygard suit separates for several years now and love them! I especially like their dress pants although I often have to have the hem taken up as they're a little too long for me.
Thanks Pat - I'll have to go to Dillards to see if I can find those pants you referenced although I don't know if they'd be right for me as I need to lose some weight and the skinny ones tend to accentuate the fatty areas.

They are heavy enough material you can't see through them like some of the other fabrics. They are tight, they hold in the tummy and uplift the butt and rein in the saddlebags. Until I can get those areas reduced more for now I'm using artificial help!! I could probably wear one of my shapers under them but really don't need it. I'm far from where I want to be but this will help me get there while not looking so bad and helping boost my confidence while I'm doing it. And I think I can keep wearing them as I lose or at least hope so.
The grey pair are almost 32 long. The blue ones are a bit short and I wonder if I picked up the wrong length, the blue are 30 inches. The black about 30, I need to check the denim before I wear them. I'm going to let the blue down far as I can because I've already worn them. I can add seam binding and get almost 3/4's of another inch out of them. I think they do vary from pair to pair and I would try them on before buying in all honesty.
You can go directly to the Nygard site on the net. They can be ordered directly from them. The ones I got are the Nygard slim, straight pants. I like them others might not but I do.
Today I got some new bras, haven't been happy with what I had for a long time. I was wearing very unconstructed, at my age I think I need underwires again. Been ages since I wore them, but L got some at Lane Bryant, usually I wear a 42C or 44C. Today I got a 42 D, its going to leave me 2 or 3 hooks to tighten up as I lose. I wore one of them, it was really comfortable and more defining.
Just because I'm getting old doesn't mean I have to let myself go. I did for awhile. When I got back down here I saw the slim and trim and pretty again and decided I was quickly falling into the southern Indiana let yourself go look. At least that's how I see it, many of the women in our area are just letting themselves go totally. I'm not about to. I'm not letting myself go either!!! I did for a couple of years because of the health issues, but I'M BAAAACCCCKKKK!!!
For bras, I just bought Lilyette and am very happy with them.
