So I dropped a dish of spaghetti with red sauce on the kitchen floor yesterday and thought I got all the splatters. It took me about an hour to clean everything up, including the floors, cabinet fronts, dishwasher, stove and walls. I don't know how it splattered so much.
Anyway, DH is doing the dishes and he just came in and told me he found another blob of spaghetti - on the ceiling of all places! I don't know how I'll get it off though since it's been dried on there for over 24 hours.
It's just been one of those days!

Yeah, I think a glass of wine would be good about now. Thanks, I didn't think of that!
BYW - he cleaned the spot off the ceiling - how I don't know and don't care.

BYW - he cleaned the spot off the ceiling - how I don't know and don't care. And it goes well with spaghetti!

When something is dropped in the kitchen and makes a mess, always check the ceiling. (Don't ask me how I know this).

OK dannylion I won't ask! I've never seen such a mess! I even stepped in it with socks on so now I'll have to bleach them.

I have one better...took the grounds cup off my espresso maker without depressurizing the water chamber. BOOM! Espresso grounds everywhere...

If it makes you feel better, I just got a text from DH informing me that one of the cans of touch up paint I had put in the back of his truck exploded from the cold last night...
Oops.

If I went into a house and saw spaghetti on the ceiling (I can't imaging how I would notice it though), my first thought would be WOW they must have had one wild party.
Thanks for letting me know it can happen with normal clumsiness.

The hotel had one of those Keurig (sp?) type coffee makers but were only giving out 2 k-cups of regular coffee which really wasn't very good. I had the bright idea of packing our own cups.
You guessed it...BLAM! all over the walls. We cleaned up as best we could but I'm sure we didn't get it all.

I've had the turkey injection thing go horribly wrong. I tried to use one of those needle injectors to fill my Thanksgiving turkey with melted butter and herbs. But I did not consider that the herbs, no matter how finely chopped, would not go through the injector needle. I had butter and herb-splattered walls, cabinets, counters, celing and floor. Let me tell you, you will never get all the herb bits off a popcorn ceiling.

DH brought home a red velvet cake from the grocery store one night, and the top just would not come off of it. I finally got it loose and slung it across the room I was so annoyed. I think there's a blob of icing on the ceiling fan light, unless DH cleaned it off. I keep forgetting to do it when I'm home and remember it when I'm not. I did clean up all the other icing that was slung everywhere.

A cheap disposable pepper grinder I bought wouldn't grind and I went to tug the top off it. I tugged tad too hard. I am still finding peppercorns in random places around the kitchen.

LOL! It wasn't as bad as I thought... it's mostly just against the interior back door panel and a little on the carpet. I think some paint remover will take care of most of it. But the truck is silver and the paint is dark blue.

Can I come join you, Beth? No one else in my house will eat spaghetti, and I apparently can't make it without cooking enough pasta for 15 people.
