This is a interesting article put up by the author regarding the PA{fatah} in Palastine, the dissolving of , turning back all governing of the West Bank to Israel, and from what I can see and understand of, electing new leaders of the Palastinians from all Palastinians , those in Gaza , the West Bank AND those millions spread through out the world. It seems there are 10 million who consider themselves Palastinian Arabs, many living in disporia through out the world.
How the israeli's would handle this I haven't a clue or the US either.
If it happened , and the ones elected, the Palastinians, and formed a new party, doing away with Fatah{PA} and Hamas, and a plank of their statement of being still had a portion stating the destruction of Israel as a Jewish state was paramount to their cause, , then in my mind there would be no discussions with Israel.
However, if that was removed , that desire vocally swore off by the elected leaders , then the pressure would be on the Israeli's to negotiate in good faith, IMHO.
However, to get the two sides, Palastinians, on the same page, well can you imagine the pubs and dems here doing that?
Anyway, a different perspective written by one side we don't hear to much from here in the states, something to consider in trying to understand of that part of the world, rather then just hearing one side , or our own governments explanation of.
Personally as I have said, I am a great supporter of Israel as a Jewish state, however on many of their decisions, actions, not saying they are wrong, but have questions of Why..explain why they do , what they do at times.
I don't believe to question means one is not a supporter of. There are plenty of questioning of their governments actions by many Israeli's thermselves, as they ask, why, the same here with our government and our elected leaders..usually started before they have been sworn in and taken office actually.

New elections will not give Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas the credibility he needs, writer says [Reuters]
"The slow collapse of Palestinian collective leadership institutions in recent years has reached a crisis amid the ongoing Arab revolutions, the revelations in the Palestine Papers, and the absence of any credible peace process.
The Ramallah-based Palestinian Authority (PA) controlled by Mahmoud Abbas and his Fatah faction has attempted to respond to this crisis by calling elections for the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) and the PA presidency.
Abbas hopes that elections could restore legitimacy to his leadership. Hamas has rejected such elections in the absence of a reconciliation agreement ending the division that resulted from Fatah's refusal (along with Israel and the PA's western sponsors, especially the United States) to accept the result of the last election in 2006, which Hamas decisively won.
But even if such an election were held in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, it does not resolve the crisis of collective leadership faced by the entire Palestinian people, some ten million distributed between those living in the occupied Gaza Strip and West Bank, inside Israel, and the worldwide diaspora"
