It's that time of year when radio stations start playing Christmas songs. I get so tired of the 60 year old moldy-oldies! I'm looking for new Christmas recordings to download. What new recordings (past 10 years, at most) have you found?
And, of course, there are older songs which you also play, year after year. What's your favorite (artist + song name)?
For me, my 2014 find is "Mary, Did You Know?" by Pentatonix.
Last year, I fell in love which their joyful "Carol of the Bells" -
I have a lot of old favorites. I'll have to think about which one(s) I like best.

I'm sorry I don't have any. I'm crazy for the classics. Same here. Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas" is my all time favorite. Then I spent about 4 years looking for Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" on CD (years ago). I was so thrilled when I finally found it.I'm pathetic, I know. Hell, I even like Hanson's "What Chrismas Means to Me".  All found on the "Now That's What I Call Christmas" CD, or whatever the hell the name of it is. Now I can just go to iTunes. |

As soon as I saw the thread title, I immediately thought of Pentatonix.  Someone on my facebook feed posted a link to "Mary, Did You Know?" and I've been watching it every day since. Normally I loathe listening to Christmas music until the actual holiday. But I am now making an exception. And I'll admit, Mariah Carey's "All I want for Christmas is You" is a guilty pleasure.  |

MN-Investor - nice job of Mary, Did You Know' by Pentatonix. I also like the version of 'Mary Did You Know' by Mary J. Blige: Blige and Andrea Bocelli did a pretty nice version of 'What Child Is This':
