It wasn't actually at Ground Zero, it was a few blocks away, where the strip clubs are, you know, really hallowed ground.
Just a heads up, there are no strip clubs there. Roughly a 1/2 to 3/4 mile radius was affected by 9/11.

I think "blind" is the word you are looking for here... Blind works well - "But, I am not as blind as some people" You could also fill in the blank with naive, uneducated, prejudiced, judgemental, bigoted, & a whole bunch of other words as well.

The word/phrase I really miss from the MSN forums, that was banned by management is: "drinking the cool-aid". Have not heard that one in months.

Radicals to hold "Sharia for America" rally
Will Obama be the keynote speaker at this "Sharia for America" rally? Or will he send his bud AG Eric Holder to pinch hit for him?? I think Joe Biden may want to go but he might just say something Politically Incorrect and tick off the Muslims again..

A President with some moral clarity, who took seriously his oath to the Constitution would assemble a team of special forces assassins to go put a bullet in this man's head; and then start hunting down his recruits in America, arresting them, interrogating them, and if it is found they are at war with us-- fighting their little "jihad" on American soil-- executing them.
It's time for some clarity in the war against radical islamists. Peaceful muslims we welcome- even embrace for their pro-family, pro-life, anti-gay marriage views. But if they're here looking for trouble, we should have no qualms about giving it to them.
It is perfectly legal to shoot a non-uniformed, illegal combatant on site, by the way-- so there's no need to get a warrant and knock politely on the door and make "arrests". If we have enough for a warrant, we have enough to go in guns blazing.
If it's good enough for David Koresh and the women and children at Waco, it's good enough for Mohammed.

So we can't have any development other than appropriate christian themed businesses within that area? Christians didn't fly airplanes into the World Trade towers. It was muslims. And we aren't going to let a radical cleric build his f***ing victory Mosque like they did at the Temple Mound, or Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. Clarity. That's what we need. The left needs to stop trying to lay its little twisted template of the world over the fight between the west and radical islam. This isn't about Christianity. It's not about Israel. It's not about rich. It's not about poor. It's not about oil. It's about radical islam.

There are a few churches of various denominations in that area. Other than those, some of which have been there for decades and decades and one or two for centuries....what specific business' are you referring to?

What would constitute a valid reason to call the FBI on people who sound like radical extremists? I'm just curious.

Oh, I don't know, maybe someone who says American soldiers should be regarded like suicide bombers...I'd be interested in that if I were the FBI...

Are you worried that Paul is going to bomb a city in the Middle East? I would be more concerned about people who seem to have it in for our soldiers, like equating them to suicide bombers, since people shooting American soldiers on buses, on military bases and at recruiting centers is a problem these days...

Um, to be fair Loopi explicitly stated she is not comparing organized military to suicide bombers, just their ad campaigns & cultural promotion. Or did you have trouble comprehending what she was saying?

As the wife of an Air Force vet, I should be offended by the accusations that I am comparing the two, but I know Ed isn't all there so I'll let it slide.
