Gluten free and stoneware just don't seem to mix. Things don't seem to cook right on them

It seems like 10 people could put in $6 each and buy all the spices and then you could all share. The purpose of the party is to get people cooking. If they like the recipes, they will return to buy more spices. If they feel more confident because of the recipes, they will try other things. A new cook who thinks they need all those stupid chotchkes to make meals are prime targets for Pampered Chef consultants. If you look at those recipes - you will see they list all the tools needed: Cutting Board/Flexible Cutting Mat Measure, Mix & Pour® or Manual Food Processor Measure-‐All® Cup or Easy Read Measuring Cups Measuring Spoon Set or Adjustable Measuring Spoons Garlic Peeler Garlic Slicer Veggie Wedger Utility Knife Scoop Loop™ If you can convince people to buy a few of these before hand - great. If they come to the party and you show them how easy it is to prep with your Veggie Wedger (whatever the hell that is) they might be inspired to buy. well no you can't share because for the some of the 10 meal group you use the entire canister of spice or the entire jar of sauce. all those things listed are what you use of your consultant's - if you want to buy great but there is no suggestion of purchasing (or at least there wasn't at the workshops I've done).

I have never gone to a PC freezer meal class, but I used to go to Dream Dinners to put together freezer meals every few weeks. I loved it. I would just go online, pick what meals I was interested in putting together, then sign up for a session. It made my life so much easier. I am not sure if Dream Dinners is still around or not, but I never put together a meal that I didn't like when cooked. I got to meet a lot of new people as well.

I am not sure if Dream Dinners is still around or not, but I never put together a meal that I didn't like when cooked. I got to meet a lot of new people as well. I just checked, and Dream Dinners is still going. There are a several locations a few hours from me, and the menus look really good. I know I can make dinners cheaper on my own, but so many of these are things I would not attempt on my own. A big plus--all the food is provided. If they were closer to home, I could see myself trying it out. I've never done meal classes, but I've done canning, pressure canning, freezing, cheese making, etc classes through the local Extension office, and those have always been fun (and, at $10 a class, well worth it to learn new skills).

I understand that you can cook without a scoop loop and half that other crap - but I was answering the question "Why would pampered chef do this?" Clearly it is because the hostess or consultant is going to come in with their veggie wedger and hope that someone will think it is awesome and buy one. As far as sharing spices - maybe there are a couple that you would need to buy a whole jar of spices - but as far as I can tell, you only 3t of Asian Spice, 1T of the lemon pepper and 2T of the italian seasoning - so share those with the several people in the group. The Chiptole rub you seem to use more of - maybe just you and one other person can split that. They seem quite proud of their BBQ rub and put it in several recipes, but unless those are very small jars, you could probably share that one too - maybe 3 people to 1 jar.
