Ugh ugh, DH wanted pasta attachments for his stand mixer for Christmas. I thought it was a Kitchenaid and asked my mom, who said yes (she's at home and can check). I ordered the set of attachments.... mom went to double check and it's actually a Kenmore Elite. I've found a few things online that say the Kitchenaid attachments work on the Kenmore mixers, but does anyone know for sure or have experience with this? I could probably cancel the order as I just placed it but if they'll work, I'm keeping them since it doesn't look like Kenmore makes a lot of attachments. Halp!

Sorry, I am of no help with this. All I know is that the KitchenAid attachments work great. Hopefully someone who knows about this will respond. Good luck!

Lol thanks! I read a few reviews of the Kenmore that stated the front attachments worked fine, but it sounded like the interior ones didn't fit so well. Ugh. I may just have to give them to him, and return them if they don't work (I hope Amazon would take them back 5-6 weeks later..)

I don't have any experience with these particular items (I have a Kitchenaid mixer, but make my pasta with a table-top Marcato) - BUT - I DO have some experience with trying to make off-label and/or off-brand parts work with "name" equipment - - - and it's never been pretty, unfortunately. If you have time, I'd return them and get the attachments specifically made for the equipment.
But that's just me. Good luck whatever you decide.

Yeah. Problem is I'm not sure Kenmore makes such specific attachments... I'll do some looking. Several reviewers on sears.com (where the Kenmore was purchased from) said they could use KA attachments. I could always open them and try them out, but who knows if I could return them after that.

Sounds like the answer is a KA to go with the attachments. Amazon sells merchandise at a discount that often indicates that it was previously opened, previously used, original packaging is missing, etc. That tells me they'll take back stuff even if you've tried it out or no longer have the packaging it came with.

LOL. He just got his Kenmore a year ago and it still works great, maybe next time! I did read this on the sears site's description of his Kenmore: "Built-in attachment hub let’s you use additional cooking tools from a variety of machines" (ughhhhhh grammar ) so this gives me hope!
