Do you have a coupe, sedan, crossover, SUV, or truck? What are the benefits? What is your vehicle's make/model? How is your vehicle on gas? Is it expensive to insure?
Would you buy the same vehicle again? Why or why not?

We have a sedan and an SUV. Sedan is 2014 Mercedes C250 SUV is a 2014 Mercedes ML 350
Sedan milage is 24 and 30 SUV is 18 and 22
Neither are expensive to insure as we have no tickets or accidents in the past 30 or 40 years, safety of Mercedes is great, we live in a LCOL area, are 70 years old, retired. Both vehicles were bought by cash, and definitely would buy Mercedes again, we have owned a total of 10 mercedes over the years.

Life is too short to buy the same model. I mean, how many cars do you really get to own over the course of your life? Mix it up a bit.

I've been driving Hondas for about 35 yrs! When I was young, it was used Civics. Then I moved on to leasing new Accords. This time around, I switched to leasing the Civic. I love it. Gas mileage is great. I think the insurance is average for a new car. I got the 4 door because it's easier for me to put bags in the back seat. My daughter got the 2 door which is sportier looking. Highly recommend Hondas.

2008 Kia Sportage - like it and probably not mind buying it again
2014 MiniCooper - my wife car and she loves it.
I am probably looking at replacing my car in the next 4-6 years and will go SUV or midsize still or I would take my wife car and she drives the SUV or midsize car.
With our lifestyle we need at least 1 SUV for when we have to carry lots of stuff.

Would you buy the same vehicle again? Why or why not? Honda Fit and I love it! It was an inexpensive car and it fits my needs. It is a hatchback. It is great on gas and low to insure as no tickets or accidents. I have driven Honda's for my last two cars and drove both over 125,000 miles. I expect to do the same with this one. Depending on how long it does last, I will probably get a Honda Civic the next time as my elderly father finds the Fit a little low to get in. I figure the future Civic will be my last car, given my age.

I don't usually notice until I get in on the passenger side. It's weird how that makes a difference.

Do you have a coupe, sedan, crossover, SUV, or truck? 2 door coupe/minivanWhat are the benefits? I love how it looks/easy to haul kids and all kinds of cargoWhat is your vehicle's make/model? 99 Civic/2006 Chevy VenturrHow is your vehicle on gas? Should be better for its size/ 24? MpgIs it expensive to insure? Should be cheaper for its age/ not terrible, but have heard that insurance on minivans is more expensive that for SUVsWould you buy the same vehicle again? Why or why not? Probably not. The Civic is too small for DH and really too small with the kids. The Venture was only purchased because my dad offered it to us for really cheap. We were looking at other makes and models.

Would you buy the same vehicle again? Why or why not? I have a 2007 Subaru Forester. I bought it because the Sentra that I had was painful for me to get in and out of. The higher profile, but not too high is what I needed. Around town, it gets about 20 mpg, about 24 on the highway. My brand new Forester was cheaper to insure than my 3 year old Sentra by about 10%. Right now, insurance runs about $50/mo. Yes, I'd buy it again. My car drives very well in bad weather. In the land of very few snow plows, and living on the top of a hill, it usually takes an AWD/4 WD vehicle to drive up to the house if there is either snow or ice. It normally only happens 2-3x/year fortunately.

We have 4 pickups! 2 Dodge Rams, 1 Dakota and 1 old Ford. mpg on MY truck averages 20mpg on the road & 18 in town. Insurance about the same as other vehicles of that year.
Won't buy a Dakota again, too darn small!
And all of ours are quad cab.

Our family has 5 cars.
I drive a 2012 CRV. I would love to trade up to the 2015, but I will keep driving this one. It is AWD SEL. I like it but the seats could be more comfortable.
DD has a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. It is a great car, but it would not be my daily driver becasue it sits too low to the ground for me to get in and out of - bothers my back.
DS has a 2006 Scion XB I used this as a daily driver for 6 weeks or so and it is a trouper. Gets good gas milage and handles well. DH bought it new for his Dad, his Dad lives on the end of a T alley and he had issues with driving through snow in the alley. It also sits low to the ground, but the boxy shape of the car means it is not as hard to get in and out of and the seats sit higher.
DH has a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Turbo. He likes it but he says he will go back to more of a luxury car next time.
We also have a 2002 Dakota Club? Cab Truck. It has been a decent vehicle for hauling stuff home from the hadware store and going to the which is all we really need a truck for. Not working right now - not sure if we will keep it. Radiator hose is leaking.

2008 Hyundai elantra, sedan. It's pretty good on gas, probably 25-27 with little highway driving. It's about 100/month with full coverage and high limits. Do have one ticket from four years ago.
I wouldn't not buy it, but I might move to a crossover because I'm tall and would like to not have to squat to get in my car. I wanted one when I bought this car but it wasn't in my price range.

Would you buy the same vehicle again? Why or why not? 1/3. Subaru Impreza-sedan; Mitsubishi Ralliart; Toyota Tundra 2. Subaru handles well and gets decent gas mileage. Ralliart is fun. Tundra tows stuff. 4. The impreza generally gets above 30 MPG. The other 2, I would rather not talk about . 5. Subaru and the Tundra are cheap, but the Mitsubishi is crazy high for no reason. The Subaru I would buy again in a heart beat. I would get a hatchback though. Love the of mix AWD, handling and gas mileage. If I needed another full size truck, I would buy another Tundra. The Mitsubishi, I enjoy it, but between the poor gas mileage and the high insurance, probably not.

Dad is getting in on passenger side and comments on how low it is almost every time. DS has a Toyota Rav4 and she puts him in the back seat most of the time. He doesn't have any trouble in her car.

Honda Civic with CRZ body style.
I would go back to the Toyota Prius but it would have to be new.

Do you have a coupe, sedan, crossover, SUV, or truck? What are the benefits? What is your vehicle's make/model? How is your vehicle on gas? Is it expensive to insure? Would you buy the same vehicle again? Why or why not? I have a screaming yellow Ford Mustang. The benefits? Easy to find in a parking lot and very visible on the road. Also, it let me join the Yellow Mustang Registry Car Club. 2006 Ford Mustang. (That was one of the 4 years they had the retro style) A tank of gas lasts me 1-2 months. It's not freakishly expensive. Our auto insurance rates are high locally because we're the car theft capital of the nation. I wouldn't buy a 2014 Mustang since it wasn't available in Yellow. But the 2015 Mustang IS!

I drive a 2010 Honda Accord EX-L sedan. It's my second Accord and I love it. I get great gas mileage, it's low maintenance, and I like the way it looks. It's reasonable to insure. I'd buy another one without question.

Would you buy the same vehicle again? Why or why not? Pickup truck I can haul stuff (for volunteering, groceries, camping, etc), and it makes me feel safer in the winter than a car. Chevy I think fair, considering it's a pickup. About 18 MPG on the highway. No, it's older, and I have liability only. So, about $40/mo for insurance. Edited to add: Would I buy the same vehicle again? Probably not. This one was a truck at DH's work which happened to come available at the right time (my Camaro was having difficulties, and rear wheel drive isn't logical to own in a cold weather climate). He knew the service history of it, and it was a really good deal for the type of engine, etc. In the future I'll most likely buy a SUV. Well, that and my dream car: A 1968 Chevy Camaro.

2012 Toyota Tacoma 2011 Subaru Outback Bought the Subaru used with 68k miles on it back in May. A friend is the GM at the dealership. Paid $17.7k for it. They did the brake pads, put new tires on and threw in the heavy winter mats and cargo mat. I'm really happy with the car. I do about 30k miles per year so purchasing a certified used was fine for me. The new Subaru Outback Limited like mine runs over $30k......"Mama don't play that game". I was amazed also that someone bought my 2002 Toyota 4Runner for $1200. It had 375k miles on it.....loved that car.

We have a 2011 Yukon XL - mine 2009 GMC Pickup - DH (?) Jeep Wrangler
The Yukon XL is necessary as we need AWD (travel in the mountains in snow country, and have very windy roads to travel daily) and I haul teenagers and all of their stuff around as a coach - also we travel a lot and needed the space as we have a fairly large dog. Gas mileage is 15-18 mpg and that is what I was getting in my smaller SUV - insurance and registration again almost the same. Would I buy again - YES - I love this truck and will drive it until it will go forward no more - we do drive cars forever.
The pickup is necessary as my DH is a builder and needs to haul large trailers and equipment - he isn't partial to a particular model, whatever suits his needs when the time comes. As he is over 100,000 miles, it may come sooner than I would like. Gas mileage and insurance are the same as for other vehicles.
Jeep Wrangler - fun vehicle, and yes we would buy another, but drive this one so little, that we will never need to.
Although not the most economical, the Yukon is a GREAT vehicle. Buy it used though as they are way too expensive brand new (I would not own one if we hadn't found this used one.) Probably most wouldn't buy new vehicles anyway.

He says it looks very nice and is cheap. If his 10 year old Toyota goes for a good price, we may be buying it in the next few months.

I have a 2007 Chrysler Sebring limited No clue on mileage, probably not too good I like it, no mechanical problems yet and looks nice 4 doors, black, big truck and the back and passenger seats go forward so I can haul really long things. The seats are leather and heated and the cup holder is heated or cooled. I like the wireless remote start so it is warm when I get in.
Next car might be a Lexus, my nephew has on and it had a back up system so you can park backed up to a fence without hitting it and only be an inch away. He got a big screen with on-star so he can use that to get maps and it can dial his phone and do GPS. It can find him pizza and even dial them so he can order while driving if they have any near where he is. We tried it but weren't near any pizza places on the way somewhere we wanted to take pizza. Seems like a fun car but I don't think I would want to pay for On-Star.

I just sold my 2005 Ford F150 and bought a 2012 Nisan Murano. (SUV)
The gas mileage on the Murano is much better than the truck. Truck was 17/19 and the Murano is 23/26. Also the SUV is more comfortable to sit in and to drive. The insurance on the truck was $800.00 a year and the SUV is $600 a year. I will not be buying a new car for at least 8 more years.

Ill sell.you my old.rogue! Really liked it, great for snow.driving. Unfortunately with the new baby on the way I had to sell my soul and get a minivan, because DH couldn't drive the car with 2 car seats in it as he's freakishly tall. I don't really want to get rid of the rogue, tbh. It's an awesome car. And it's paid off. Wait, why am I selling it then?

InJune, 2014, I bought a 2012 Nissan Murano with 14800 miles on it. I sold my F150 pick up truck privately and find the small SUV much easier and cheaper to drive.
