Alright, Sum Dum Gai, let's have the sales figures from this weekend so we can really see how this experiment is going.

More or less than the previous weekend when you weren't a loser yet?

Probably part of the equation is your belief in the moniker and sometimes other people's belief in the moniker.
Loser has gotten off pretty easy here as he hasn't posted much plus almost no teasing or using of his moniker is being posted.

Is the pool tournament thing still in the works, or was that put to rest thanks to reinvigorated sales?
Very very sorry to hear about your father, swamp.

If you did $4,500+ on a non-holiday weekend leading up to the holiday season, hopefully that is pretty good.
How is its future looking at this point? That very first weekend with the kendamas was hopefully a tide-turner at a point where you thought all hope was lost. Is it still a matter of possibly having to close? Assuming this holiday season goes as well as last year, will you survive?

On hold for now. I need to focus on the business I have and quit fucking around. Dark, your focus is in the right place. If my BIL (a medical care provider) was smart enough to understand what you do, he wouldn't be fiddling around with writing software, constantly changing control parameters in their practice management software (and screwing things up (he's blown away all their patient files on three different occasions)), spending years trying to develop an idea that will get venture capitalists to invest in his scheme, etc. He would have been focused on providing services to patients (which he is really good at). And he'd have made enough that he'd be retired with more money than Warren. Well -- not more than Warren, but a whole bunch. Instead, he's always a week or two away from bankruptcy. And at age 63, hasn't saved two dimes for retirement. Question. Is there a good, successful toy store owner that you can ask to mentor you? Someone who wouldn't be close enough to be considered a competitor? Who might be able to help you get things dialed in the way you'd like them to be? Maybe one of your toy company reps came suggest a few folks. Hoping things come together for you and that your store becomes an overwhelming success.
