Aww, I think they're cute. DD has this horrid Laugh & Learn Puppy that doesn't seem to have an "off" switch... I wish I had $1 for every time I've almost peed my pants after stepping on it in the dark and hearing "HI! LET'S SING AND PLAY GAMES." We hate that thing. We hid it after about 2 days. We currently have it hidden in a box to go to DH's aunt who loves 10 hrs away.

Good Night Moon bunny isn't creepy.
Or any of the Audobon Society stuffed animals.
You shouldn't generalize -- the stuffed animals can read.
Joost saying.

When my daughter was about 18 months old, my mother decided it would be a good idea to get her a new doll. She got one that squirmed when you squeezed it. "Just like a real baby!" read the advertisement. Mother gave the doll to DD. DD grabbed the doll and hugged it to her chest. Right on cue, it squirmed. DD threw that doll as far as she could throw it and ran across the room to me. She wouldn't go near the thing! We still laugh about that.

Otherwise, pull the damn batteries. Those thing (and VTech) are the devil.

Damn near had a heart attack when I heard a kidlike voice in the car after I had been at work all day.

Ordinary stuffed animals don't bother me, but years ago I went to an arts and crafts fair where lots of people were selling teddy bears with human baby faces. THAT creeped me out. Too Island of Dr. Moreau for my taste.

I still refuse to see that film Tenn! I do know what it's about though LOL. Keep it that way. I still can't believe I wasted 2 and a half hours on that Godforsaken movie! I felt my brain cells dripping out with every line that stupid bear uttered. And I thought Sponge Boob Squarepants made my eyes cross in stupidity.

Ugh! Beanie babies creep me out. My father's wife collected them during the craze. Claimed they were part of her net worth. When they built a new house (NOT in Beanie baby income), they displayed them in the guest room (the one I had to sleep in). They put a shelf along the wall the entire way around the room and sat hundreds of beanie babies on it. Thousands of creepy little eyes surrounding and staring at me while I was trying to fall asleep. Ick!

Those freaking evil rabbits cannot be unseen and they really want to kill me. Thanks a lot, whomever posted that (NOT going back to the previous page to look).

My kids had one of these, and it was freaking haunted - it would turn itself on and make all types of noise.

My older brother used to make robots out of the metal erector sets he had. These were about 4 feet tall and he put a motor on it. And stored it in the upstairs landing (he and my older sister and I were in the upstairs bedrooms) about 20 years ago, he admitted he kept them there because they were creepy/scaring at night.

My sister is soooo creeped out by Twisty She texted me while she was watching talking about it and I said I was going to come over and stand outside her window in a clown costume. She reminded me that she owns a shotgun. She's no fun.

She reminded me that she owns a shotgun. She's no fun. To be fair she'd be more no fun if she didn't remind you she was armed I remember the first season of AHS... the latex suit guy. I (half) joked with MrSroo that if he ever thought that would be a good idea, to expect a lamp to the head as a distraction while I grabbed the shotgun. True, but I got the last laugh, *I* had lots of fun messing with her anyway. ETA: Inspiration!! She's getting married Saturday, I think I've figured out what I'm wearing
