I know I won't do this again.
The scans and pictures were OK but getting on the treadmill was *(^%%. They wanted my heart rate to be 125 and after the 3rd rate and incline adjustment my rate was about 90 and going up slowly. So they decided to do the chemical bit instead.
I felt lousy and had a horrible headache.
I have naturally low blood pressure and pulse rate. Geeeeeesh

I done this test last winter and got sent to emergency, cause my heart rate went wacky. It was damn painful I found.

Oh, been there, did that two years ago. Same issue....low heart rate (thanks to exercise), so the treadmill version is a waste of time for me.
Gawd, I was counting the seconds until I could get the heck outta that office. Worst feeling ever.

Had the test years ago. No problem with the heart.
When they started the treadmill I thought the test was a piece of cake; that is until they uped the speed of the treadmill. By the time the treadmill reached the speed needed for the test, I thought it was Hell Week.

My only problem with the treadmill is my darned knees. I've got a bit of arthritis in my knees so when we switch to uphill, the faster we go the more I worry about my right knee giving out. The doc and I were kidding about putting a net in the hallway to catch me when the knee gives out and the treadmill throws me out into the hall.

By the time the treadmill reached the speed needed for the test, I thought it was Hell Week. My problem was the incline. My calves were starting to give out well before I felt like I needed to quit otherwise. I got to the level they wanted, but I could have gotten my heart rate there quicker if they had just let me run all out on a small incline.

But they want you to reach the point where you could have a heart attack. Hence the doctor on site while you take the test.

Saw the cardiologist yesterday and my heart function is in the solid normal range. No artery restrictions .......... or anything else. Barring unforeseen accidents I have the 20+ years I promised my grand-daughter.
I got a solid 7 hours sleep last night.
