I thought it interesting that my thread on Muslim architectural windows at one of the Muslims most holy venues became such a hot commodity for a day or two..Actually it was posted just because I thought  a few of us here might find it interesting ..A break from the norm when anything Muslim..Islam is discussed...

At times it seems the western feeling of what people of this region of the world do all day, most likely  sitting around discussing who has the best price for bomb making ingredients  and then organizing bomb making circles somewhat like the quilt making clubs from times past..

Just came across another article..surprising the same argument being held in this capital city of a Arab country regarding civic improvements..necessary or not..destroying old architecture and only because of profits for certain groups...Sound familiar..?

If you notice, except for a few woman who have their head covered, { I see that everyday out where I live and when I go shopping...} the kids all seem to dress and look just like my grand kids, right down to their sneaks and shirts, pants..hair and body language ..interest in what ever is being discussed ..How can that be I have to ask..? { Before someone actually starts to answer that .....please..I am being facetious here...tongue in cheek if you will....}

Muslims are same as all the people. Some wish to conserve art and custom and such and some are greedy and care only about money. It is sad I think that some care more for money except probably it is same way for all the cultures and people.
