The photographer locked the camera to the position of the milky way and let the Earth rotate around it.

I'm familiar with some of these including the monkey face orchid.
My favorite was the suicide palm.
Thanks for posting.

Except for the pansies, the rest of the flora in my garden is wintering nicely. The fauna is leaving large deposits of bunny poop on the lawn. I guess the bunny ate too many pansies

Niue declared world's first 'Dark Sky nation' Niue has become the world's first whole country recognized as a 'Dark Sky Place' by the International Dark-Sky Association's (IDA), which has approved the island's application for the protection of its sky, land and sea. The title recognizes an area with exceptional quality of starry nights and a commitment to protecting the noctural environment. Such dark-sky area designations aim to restrict artificial light pollution so that night skies can be observed and enjoyed to their fullest potential. Tourism Niue said the protection added to current measures, including a marine reserve which was 40 percent of Niue's exclusive economic zone. Niue declared world's first 'Dark Sky nation'

I wish I had a clue about posting pix because there are flowers in my garden that are positively breathtaking...bright blue and flashy fuschia Senetti Pericallis, snapdragons, dianthus, aforementioned pansies, Lenten rose. Oh, my. I sit on the teeny tiny patio and admire them all day long (when it isn't raining).

If you can upload your pictures into your desktop computer to a photo saving site like Photobucket you then create a JPG format of the picture. You could use the post photo function here as it accepts JPGs and one other format (the acronym escapes me at the moment).

I can make myself understood in Spanish and French, semi-literate in German, fluent in English. Just not in IT. Upload, download, reload, lock & load, unload...and Photobucket...it's all Greek to me Honestly not trying to be funny. I just really don't get it at all. I can cut and paste. I can post on FB from my phone and add pix that I take with the phone. That's the sum total.

Speaking of fauna...... Head of tiny dinosaur found trapped in amber This tiny head, 14 millimeters long (including the beak), belongs to one of the smallest dinosaurs ever found. Entombed in amber for nearly 100 million years, the creature belonged to the group of dinosaurs that gave rise to modern birds. The animal was probably about the size of the bee hummingbird, the smallest living bird. www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/03/head-tiny-dinosaur-found-trapped-amber

I saw/read that this morning. Dinosaurs came in big and small sizes. Now wouldn't it be interesting is scientists found a dinosaur the size of a gnat in amber.

I guess the bunny ate too many pansies I actually have a nice clump of purple violas with yellow eyes that over-wintered just fine in a sheltered spot. Daffodils are budding and will bloom soon. Too bad about the pansies, but generally its too cold for pansies to be anything but annuals where I live.

The daffodils are now done blooming for this year. Ornamental trees are in bloom and leafing out. Days and days and days of rain showers washing away the pollen. Rain could be a problem for fruit trees.
